Hey lovelies! For those of you who love making, who adore bright colours and who have drawers full of ribbons and fun papers and crafty bits at home (or wish you had!)… I have something wonderful to share. Today’s fabulously creative shoot is brought to you by Starry Eyed Weddings and Three Flowers Photography along with a team of talented wedding creatives from the East of England. I hope you love it as much as I do!

Angela Reed Events and Nathalie Delente Photography, Chelmsford (8)

When Angela got in touch with me to share this shoot, I loved two things most of all: the simple touches of greenery which make this look absolutely breathtaking, and her approach to creating a look which real brides and grooms can recreate in their own way, without having to spend a fortune. Perfect!

The Railway Barn in Chelmsford, Essex is on a working vineyard in an industrial setting, bare brickwork and the vines created a beautiful backdrop. We brought in natural elements such as the wooden tables and chairs and coloured glass and crockery to enhance the look and touches of cooper in the cutlery added a touch of luxury.

Hannah and Terence had decided throughout their planning that they wanted a very relaxed day – they weren’t fussed about formality or traditions, they simply wanted a day of celebration. They managed to do this so well, the whole day felt very natural with real joy. It was a beautiful day, but so cold and Hannah and Terence were real troopers going outside throughout the day so I could do my thing. I loved that Hannah wanted to keep Terence’s jacket on for their portraits – it made it feel completely real.

Today, something more than a little different. I do like to challenge perceptions of bridal style, and I know for me at least I’m always looking for the unique, the styles and settings which are different, thought-provoking and of course insanely beautiful. Asylum Chapel, anyone?!

Inspired by the atmospheric beauty of the Asylum Chapel in South London, this editorial shoot is beautifully captured by the very talented Sarah and Lyndon of Fine and Dandy photography.

The floristry was styled by Sarah at The Flower Bird using lots of foliage and blossom, creating a gorgeous ethereal style.

There are so many ways to style a woodland wedding: you could go boho with shades of green and a focus on foliage, or create a playful and perfectly whimsical scene using vibrant, exciting colours like this…
