I fell in love with Danielle and Phung’s Notley Abbey wedding as soon as I saw the images: their vibrant colours and beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony stole my heart. This was an international celebration with family travelling from all over the world. Danielle bought her stunning dress in New York, the table plan was a world map (it’s fab!) and there was a tea ceremony as well as the outdoor wedding and reception.

I adore Notley Abbey for its grounds and grandeur: truly a favourite English wedding venue. Danielle told me, “The setting was amazing, but the small touches such as the flowers, family pictures, and wooden signs added our personal touch.”

Time for a lovely wedding this morning, don’t you think? I’m so delighted to be able to share Rebecca and Andy’s Cambridge wedding on the blog with you this morning – they styled their day with a personal twist on traditions and the result is timeless and beautiful. Stunning bride Rebecca really rocks her Candy Anthony wedding dress, Andy looks fab in his slim fit suit from Jack Bunneys, and the bridesmaids look fantastic in dresses by Vivien of Holloway!

Today’s beautiful bride is Jessica, world traveller and blogger, and now wife of the very handsome Johannes! Their Kent wedding is full of vintage travel ideas – with a world map table plan, paper flowers made out of map pages and more. Johannes even wears a bow tie made from map printed fabric!

I love how this wedding is so personal to the couple. They’re really styled the day around their lives and loves – and have also embraced Englishness by marrying in a historic brewery. I will be raising a glass or two to you both this weekend! Congratulations, and thank you for sharing your wedding and story on the English Wedding Blog today. Thank you also to photographer Chris Orange for sharing the images of the wedding day. Everyone – enjoy!
