Good morning! I have been waiting for MONTHS to share this stunning wedding with you… lovely Lisa & Mark were married in December – and the Christmas tree just seemed perfect to share with you right now. Who has their tree up? Ours is on its way down from the loft tonight and I’m excited to get the baubles out later! It won’t compare to this beauty though…
You know when something is so beautiful it takes your breath away? When you’re captivated by an image which stays in your mind for days, weeks even? I’ve been sharing sneak peeks of today’s ethereal bridal inspiration shoot across all of my social media for weeks… and the haunting aesthetic steals my heart every time I catch a glimpse of the images.
All photos are by Susan Arnold Photography
Every inspiration shoot is based around a theme. Ours was a bride yearning for her love to return to her: a love so strong her belief could never fade, never wane. This timeless aesthetic fits beautiful with the location of the shoot: the crumbling walls of Scadbury’s moated manor.
Hello, beautiful! In a few short weeks I will be heading into my favourite UK city for a little Christmas shopping… and to teach my last modern calligraphy workshop of the year. 2016 has been amazing, I’ve loved every workshop and I’d love you to join me to make this last one of the year the best workshop ever!
We have 15 places for crafty brides-to-be, Mums, best girls and guys to come along and learn the art of beautiful modern lettering. It’s not as hard as you’d think… but at the same time it’s one of those things where everyone needs just a little guidance to get started.
Kate and Chris’s wedding is divine: a luxury summer celebration with fabulous white hydrangeas and a marquee reception at Kate’s parents’ farm. It’s beautiful: Kate told me they had lots of help from their families to plan and style the perfect day… and oh, didn’t they just!
The white hydrangeas make a bold statement; Kate’s bouquet is gorgeous. The images are wonderful – Samantha Jane Photography gets a glowing review from the happy couple. “We thought the photos were amazing and really told the story of the day, capturing moments that myself and my husband didn’t always get to see.”
Karen and Dan’s wedding has that timeless elegance which really typefies an English wedding. They married in Hampshire in early autumn at the fabulous Tylney Hall, and styled their day with the palest and prettiest white and pink flowers and details.
Their wedding photographer was lovely Steven Anthony, who is based in London. Steven told me, “It was a beautiful day at Tylney Hall, Hampshire and I think it typified everything great about an English country wedding. White Rolls Royces, string quartet, a master of ceremonies and a beautiful bride in a Stewart Parvin dress.”
