Never let a wedding blog tell you there are things you need to have: there aren’t. All you need is the two of you – everything else is optional. Clare and Dan’s wedding at 60 Hope Street is simple, minimalist… and all the more romantic for it. The love that shines in their photographs warms my heart. Clare found her wedding suppliers on the internet and through recommendations – and her photographer Rachel Ryan was a super find on Facebook!

Sometimes a wedding is far too pretty to say no to, and sometimes a wedding is so pretty it takes seconds for me to squeal “yes pleeeeeeeease!” at my inbox! Jade and Lawrence’s big day shot straight into the latter category and I know you’ll love it too.

The gorgeous couple were married at Hedingham Castle in Essex and their day was relaxed, pretty and with lots and lots of DIY details. Jade and Lawrence saved money by asking friends and family to help out, and they also chose to ignore the traditions they didn’t like… which, I’m sure you’ll agree, is the way to do it!

Proof that you don’t need to style your day around a restrictive ‘theme’ – Mahdieh and Joshua’s wedding is full of bright colours, and definitely has tons of character. Today’s gorgeous couple fell in love at first sight when they met as students and after getting engaged they spent just over a year planning their big day.

Their venue is contemporary and deliciously different: the Isla Gladstone, a converted Victorian conservatory set amidst picture-perfect rose gardens and lakes, surrounded by historic stone pavilions.
