I promised you a stunning editorial today and I hope you’ll agree this more than fits the bill! Romantic, boho bridal style and a bold take on an ever-popular modern colour palette make this shoot an absolute dream. We’re at The Walled Gardens in Nottingham with lovely Nicole & Charlotte Events and a host of rather brilliantly talented local wedding suppliers. The colour palette for table styling is rich and exciting, with teal, grey and copper making the perfect backdrop for a loose bouquet of roses, berries and eucalyptus. Enjoy!
Welcome, lovely, to the second day of ‘English Wedding lite’ – my look back at some of our favourite weddings from our 2018 archive. Yesterday we reminisced on James & Keye’s festival wedding; today we’re all about luxe, glamorous and timeless wedding style with beautiful Tig & Piers. They were married in Nottingham and chose Martin Makowski to capture their day. You’ll love their flowers – they’re byย Lou at No 27 Floral Design.
Sometimes it’s all about the dress… and gorgeous bride Tig told us she fell in love with hers – it’s just beautiful! “I didn’t actually see my finished dress until 2 days before the wedding as I decided to change the top from a strapless style to a halter neck with only 6 weeks to spare…
The designer was amazing and completely agreed that the halter style would suit me better so was willing to adapt it though the deadline was tight. I couldn’t have been happier and adored that the colour was not your traditional ivory, white or oyster. I learnt: go with your gut!” The designer was Kula Tsurdiu, whose beautiful boutique is based in Nottingham’s brilliantly bohemian Lace Market.ย
