Today is a bit of a treat for me, and for you too I hope! I have a wonderfully chic London wedding to show you, with a Caroline Castigliano designer dress, images by the amazing Blake Ezra Photography and one of my favourite London venues: the ICA.

Michelle is the most beautifully elegant bride, fabulous in her beautifully designed dress from Les Trois Soeurs London boutique. Her flowers were very simple red roses, matching Matthew’s buttonhole on his elegant Mr. Start suit. They’re the most amazing couple… I’m thrilled to be sharing their day with you!

The images are out of this world. Wedding photographer Blake Ezra is one of the best – his intuitive approach and understanding of weddings is second to none; his images have an indefinable magic to them… as Michelle and Matthew told me in their blog interview (at the end of the feature) they capture the day perfectly.

Today’s real wedding blog is from the very beautiful Lydia and her handsome groom Lloyd at London’s Institute of Contemporary Arts. I fell for their wedding style as soon as I saw the first images of their day. They kept things simple and classy with chic and contemporary flowers, beautiful lace, candles and pretty accessories.

Wedding photographer Amanda Balmain describes the ICA as having “gorgeous high ceilings, huge windows and elegant white interiors it is a beautiful setting for a romantic, stylish wedding“. It’s a new venue for me as a wedding blogger but looks really lovely. Lydia and Lloyd were impressed as well, and used the venue’s recommended suppliers who they were very pleased with.

Before I share all the images I want to introduce today’s wedding blog with a quote from Lydia which brought tears to my eyes. Talking about the wedding ceremony, she says, “it was as if the world around us did not exist anymore, it was only HIM and ME. Only when we kissed and everybody started clapping did we realize we weren’t alone at all, and everyone who was important to us, close family and friends, were with us.
