Hey beautiful! How was your weekend? We were treated to the loveliest day on Saturday by the team at The Wordsworth Hotel in Grasmere, in the Lake District. I’m feeling so refreshed and at peace after a blissful weekend! More about that on Wednesday – we’ll be publishing a full review of our weekend then. Today though, we head for another stunning English mansion, with a wonderfully spring like wedding inspiration shoot from Clissold Park Mansions, just outside of London.

Images are by our lovely friend Eva Tarnok, and the styling was all taken care of by the fabulous Events by Keenda. We’re blown away by the floral design by Augusta Florals, and the bouquet, with silk ribbons from super lovely Pompom Blossom, and the cake and desserts from wonderful Gourmandises. The stationery by Hummingbird Cards adds a touch of elegance to set the scene for a perfectly styled English wedding.

The neon sign in the header image makes the most eye-catching statement – it’s by Love Inc – other props and tableware come from Dreaming of Vintage.

So this is an absolute stunner of a wedding… John and Lucy are sooo gorgeous and their wedding day is full of wonderful makes and beautiful details. I love it to bits and I hope you will too! Lucy’s dress is out of this world, the images are light and fresh and make me want to see more. The minimal styling is really refreshing – the Cambridge venues and emotions of the day really do say it all.

Lucy’s mum made her wedding dress… isn’t it fabulous? Other details were homemade as well, from stationery to flower arrangements and even props for the photo booth! “We sourced the flowers ourselves and my mum, sister and niece arranged them. We also used tealights, fairy lights, and created our own photo booth with some props and an instant camera. I really enjoyed designing our wedding stationery, and the photo booth was also a lot of fun – sourcing all the props etc.”
