Happy Monday lovelies! Did you have a nice weekend? We were in Manchester – had a lovely time at the folk festival on Thursday night, then shopped on Friday and met up with family, and I had a lovely calligraphy workshop on Saturday afternoon. Coming back into Cumbria was nice… it’s always such a relief to see the sea and mountains again after a trip away! My last calligraphy class this year will be on the 7th of December, and we’re going all festive with lovely ideas for gift tags, Christmas cards etc. Do join me – there’s more info here https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/christmas-calligraphy-workshop-tickets-49871542125 and as always I’m looking for a wedding photographer to take beautiful pics of the class in return for a massive discount off the ticket price. Get in touch if you can help!
I am clinging onto summer this week – despite the gale force winds and rain we’ve had here on the west coast. Let’s brighten all of our mornings with the beautiful Lancashire wedding of beautiful bride Emma and gorgeous groom Rob! Their June wedding was perfect – they were blessed with the most beautiful weather, which was perfect for their Bashall Barn farm celebrations.
Both bride and groom are teachers – Emma’s a science teacher and Rob teaches music – so the school theme was strong through the day, with handwritten chalkboard signage, and even a ‘periodic table of tables’ for their table plan! The flowers in test tubes (for the ceremony) just look so pretty – I love this idea. Rob also wrote the music Emma walked down the aisle to, which is the loveliest thing ever, don’t you think?
