When I first began English Wedding I remember writing a little ‘about’ piece. The blog was for every bride and groom, and to showcase every side of English style from classic elegance through punk and folk, via city chic and our artisan heritage. I stand by that today: we’ve shared amazing inspiration and real weddings for every kind of couple. I’m proud of that.

And in these unsettling times I’m determined to keep supporting independent wedding businesses as much as I possibly, possibly can. Today I’d like to share sustainable British bridalwear brand Lee Klabin. Lee has just unveiled her AW 20/21 collection of statement bridalwear, fusing high fashion with incredible ethics and a look I just LOVE!

I’m doing everything I can to shine positivity into the interweb and keep our screens beautiful, inspiring and happy through difficult times. We all need a little joy, whether that’s from a spot of sunshine in our back gardens or from scrolling through favourite websites and wedding inspiration channels. I hope, lovely readers, today’s wedding will lift your spirits as it has mine. The happy couple are Emma & Adam, and Manor by the Lake wedding photographer Martin Dabek captured their day so beautifully.

Romantic, French inspired wedding inspiration with masterful florals (36)

Continuing with the beautiful escapism of weddings this week… we head to Hooton Pagnell for a sublimely sustainable styled shoot! The early sunshine is a delight; the look is natural, organic and elegant, and the special touches (cake! calligraphy! candles!) are FABULOUS!

Mark Crayden captured the shoot. We all loved his raw and effortless talent to be able to capture emotion, as well as the transitioning season. We were inspired by seasonal flowers, consisting of pretty peachy hues, a Pantone blue pop and with subtle earthy touches. Cut and bulb form was key to Sam of Fantail Designer Florist, whilst the use of moss and eco-friendly techniques were also adopted throughout. No floral foam was used for our inspirational shoot.

Hey lovelies, I hope you’re all staying safe and your loved ones are ok. It’s been one hell of a tough week – but I’m trying my best to bring a little spark of sunshine and joy with some beautiful real weddings. Today’s the turn of gorgeous couple Laura and Jonno, whose luxury wedding at Caswell House is simply wonderful to see. The flowers are insane, the dreamy May sunshine is a welcome reminder that we can all look forward to warmer days soon!
