So this one’s really close to home for me: a Lake District wedding at one of our finest venues, nestling amongst the highest English mountains in the charming village of Grasmere. The venue is the Michelin-starred The Forest Side – a gem I’ve dined at, organised a photoshoot at, and where my mum & dad used to stay on their Lakes holidays before I was born!

The spring sunshine is guaranteed to warm your day – and Katherine is absolutely stunning in Maggie Sottero’s ‘Deirdre’ wedding dress. Katherine and Terran describe their day as “The best, most fun, day of our lives so far!” – and it really does look like the PERFECT wedding from their photos. The happy pair celebrated at Katherine’s parent’s farm near Wareham, Dorset – their reception was held in a beautiful sail cloth tent in a field. Welcome to the first week of December! Are you all black-Fridayed out?! I know I am! Let’s escape for a little while with a stunningly beautiful wedding, informally styled around a rosemary and lavender theme and beautifully captured by Jonny Barratt Photography. Bride Nikki wears a wonderfully sparkling Phase Eight dress, while Gareth’s suit is tailor made by Gieves and Hawkes. They look fabulous, happy and SO in love! I couldn’t think of a better beginning to our week. I hope you love this as much as I do!
