Photobooths are my favourite thing when I’m letting my hair down and enjoying a real life wedding – fact. I love the giggles and fun of dressing up; but I also love the escape from the formality of the day, sometimes. I’d love to see more photobooths with a real focus on style and being a treat for guests to enjoy. The Boho Booth is just perfect…
Today’s wedding has character, individuality and good old English country charm. I love Kelly and Gary’s choice of The Bull Hotel for their intimate Kent wedding – it’s a great little place and just looks so welcoming and off the beaten [wedding] track! Kelly is gorgeous – and despite Gary at one point not wanting a photographer, I’m thrilled they booked lovely Michelle Cordner Photography to capture their day.
“Our wedding inspiration came from us and how we are as a couple. We are relaxed (sometimes too much!), fun loving and love a quirky building and the countryside. We wanted a Kentish feel to our wedding that was slightly different and not what everyone else does.
Alex & Laura’s wedding is in the most amazing ‘venue’ – if we can describe a 19th century transatlantic steamship as a wedding venue! I love their creativity in choosing a space which really sets the scene for a memorable and adventurous wedding day. This is all so gorgeous: Laura is stunning in a shorter length dress and the nighttime photos taken after their reception are wonderfully unique and exciting!
Northbrook Park is a venue instantly recognisable for its peacocks, stunning gardens and light and airy ceremony rooms. It’s one of my favourite Surrey wedding venues and never fails to create the most fabulous atmosphere for a wedding. Documentary Wedding Photographers York Place Studios create images which are instantly recognisable for their stories: beautifully lit, exciting and vibrant wedding photography which captures the imagination – and I promise you, every single image is worth stopping for as you scroll down the page.
Canals have a romance all of their very own, don’t you think? If you’ve ever strolled along a canal before sunset you’ll know how wonderfully tranquil those towpaths can be. The adventure of drifting through England’s hidden waterways is one I dream of experiencing, one day. So Heather and Michael’s day has my heart: their photos by the locks are beautiful; their tipi reception is full of character and quaint old English charm – it’s perfect.
