Hey lovely! How’s your weekend going so far? I’m so excited to be sharing such a pretty celebration with you today – beautiful Sophie and gorgeous hubby Stephen were married at Eversholt Hall in October and chose a dream team of East of England wedding suppliers for their wedding day including Matt Bishop Photography and lovely Lorraine from Wild Orchid Floral Design. The look is wonderfully romantic and the images are light and fresh and oh-so-beautiful.
Our florist was Wild Orchid, based in Leighton Buzzard. Lorraine was amazing and created some stunning displays. The flowers were full of blush, ivory and amnesia roses, which matched perfectly with my bridesmaid dresses.
Happy Friday my lovelies! After a pretty full week on the blog we have one of those wonderfully relaxed, countryside tipi weddings to share with you today. Beautiful bride and gorgeous groom Lucy and Ian, along with their guests, simply walked from their ceremony to the reception in the charming village of Singleton, in the Lavant valley near Chichester. Their five month old daughter Maisie is the star of the show – how adorable is this tiny human?!
How was your weekend? Ours has been lovely with a day’s tidying up (doesn’t it feel amazing when a forgotten corner of your house gets all neat and shiny?!!) and a day of tootling about in the Lake District. So I’m feeling refreshed and excited for the week ahead, and all the more so because we have some fabulous weddings to share with you from around the UK. We’ll start in Staffordshire with Lucy and Tom’s brilliant wedding story, which I love to bits!
This week has just flown by! I hope you’ve had a lovely one and are all ready for the weekend. Today we join gorgeous couple Sarah & Alex for their Essex wedding at St Osyth church with a reception in Alex’s grandmother’s back garden! The bouquet by Miss Fleur Floral Design will make you fall-over-swoon and the images are just soooo beautiful! They’re by our lovely friend and English Wedding member Grace Elizabeth, who is based in Colchester.
Harriet & Ian got married in August in Oxford, and describe their day as joyful, beautiful, welcoming, summery, exuberant, momentous and full of happiness! It looks wonderful – that summer sunshine and the relaxed styling in such glorious venues are perfect for an Oxford wedding! This gorgeous pair look so happy and content on their best day ever – which I think comes down to their genius approach to planning.
