Happy Monday, lovelies! How was your weekend? Did you see our FOUR features on English Wedding this weekend? Huge thanks to Jordanna Marston Photography for sharing her best 10 London wedding venues with us on Saturday – that was fab! And we LOVED the sustainable wedding inspiration shoot on Saturday morning. Lovely Charlene‘s wedding videos (Love Gets Sweeter) made the blog look so lovely on Sunday. Meanwhile, we have been sofa shopping and then walking in the mountains… a weekend of two halves! I’m pooped – but happy to be at my desk again and ready to share some wedding loveliness with you today!

It’s always the images that get me; the beautiful photography and the intuitive captures. With York Place Studios that’s always the hugest thing. Then there’s Beth and Tim – a couple whose love, laughter and secret glances steal my heart. They’re adorable, romantic, heartwarming and surrounded by everyone they hold dearest at their Star Inn wedding in Harome.

I thought we all deserved a little treat this Sunday afternoon, so gather round and snuggle up for an extra special dose of wedding lovely. Our fabulous friend Amanda Karen Photography sent in this beauty of a shoot and I’ve fallen for it hook, line and sinker. The styling is exquisite; the colour palette is fabulous. This is a shoot in two halves: the copper dress takes my breath away and I’d love to see more brides wearing such a bold statement dress… but if that’s not for you then the bridal jumpsuit is unique, different and 100% on trend for 2019! Both outfits are by the always fabulous Charlie Brear.

Hello there beautiful! I hope you’re having a wonderful day and staying snuggled up and warm inside! While our hearts and minds are full of Christmas, I have the loveliest wedding to share with you today. Issy and Alistair married at Milling Barn in Buntingford at Christmas time and chose lovely Becky Harley as their wedding photographer. The bouquet and styling are insanely beautiful, Issy is stunning in a modern style Maggie Sottero dress and Alistair oh so handsome in his RAF uniform. There are berries and holly and evergreens galore in this wonderful winter barn wedding, and I hope you love it as much as I do!

Happy New Year everyone! Warmest welcomes from me if you’re new to English Wedding – oh, and huge congratulations if you’ve got a brand new sparkly thing on your finger!!! Exciting times are ahead and I’m here to inspire you through your wedding planning journey. Come & grab a cuppa and I’ll introduce you to everyone at English Wedding. This blog is for everyone – brides and grooms alike. We focus on real weddings all around the UK and share the very best ideas, advice and photography from the wedding world. I like to think English-Wedding.com is a little different – as well as the gorgeous details, the weddings we feature have a sense of humour and authenticity to them. It’s not all about spending a fortune to create an insta-worthy day: every wedding is about your personalities, your family and friends and having the most amazing party with the happy smiling faces of the folks you love.
