I met lovely Tracy from The Flower House at a styled editorial shoot last September – and she’s one of the friendliest wedding creatives you could hope to meet. Tracy’s talents with flowers are a joy to witness:  her arrangements are thoughtful and beautifully arranged, with huge character and a fabulous contemporary style. They’re the focal point of today’s inspiration feature, which shows you how to style a bohemian wedding with rich tones for late summer. The images are by my lovely friend Jenny Heyworth Photography for Aspire Photography Training.

Today’s gorgeous bride and groom chose a destination wedding in the Champagne region of France. Their August wedding was held at Chateau de Mairy, in the small village of Mairy Sur Marne. I love the bright sunflowers and relaxed atmosphere of their day – it all looks so sunny and beautiful!

Nature lovers and fans of decadent florals – I have such a treat for you this Thursday afternoon. Today’s feature is all about a boho bridal look with oodles of greenery and the prettiest peach colour accents for a pretty spring vibe.

I love how delicate the Luna Bride gown feels – and how easily a dreamy boho look can become a little more luxe just by adding stunning floral arrangements.

Images are by fine art wedding photographer Arabella Smith, who collaborated with a team of Yorkshire wedding creatives to bring this look to life. The shoot took place during the Helmsley Walled Garden Wedding Open Weekend, with a floral fine art vibe but a little boho twist.

Personalising your wedding can include as many or as few aspects of yourselves as you’d like… for Vicky and Sachin, they chose to include so many things they loved, and their day was full of fun and special touches because of it!

I do adore a properly placed apostrophe, don’t you?! Titles aside, today’s feature is fantastic advice, brilliantly written. No doubt there will be music involved in your wedding day at some point – so you should totally read this guest blog by our sponsors Bands for Hire and take note!

DO check out your wedding band’s sound before you book them.

These days, what with camera phones and YouTube, it’s easier than ever for a band to produce their own recordings and videos, so even if you can’t find any links when shopping online, you can always ask the band to send you something. Also, ask your friends and family if they can recommend a function band they’ve either seen or hired themselves recently.
