Trusting your wedding suppliers — the importance of a good relationship

The relationship you’ll have with many of your wedding suppliers is different to other shopping experiences — to say the least! It’s more like the relationship you’ll have with other departments at work: you’re relying on them for some really, really important things!

But you’ll have more invested in this relationship, so it’s crucial that you can trust everything to run smoothly. How?

How to trust your wedding suppliers

In a nutshell both you and your important suppliers should be completely honest and open, share information up front and ask even the silliest questions so it’s all completely clear. Knowledge is half of the battle.

It’s all about the Experience

I can’t stress this enough: if I have one Top Tip to share with brides and grooms, it’s this blog post. Every couple can afford the very best in this sense: luxury customer service costs nothing, special touches make all the difference and the Experience is what it’s all about…

Wedding suppliers also take note — are you selling a product or service, or is your wedding business providing an experience brides and grooms will truly love, remember and recommend?

Laura from Green Earth Flowers and Michelle from Timeless Bride have built their wedding businesses around their personalities — both are passionate about their work and led by ethical principles: I learned a lot about being welcoming, honest and inspiring, from both of these ladies this morning.

It’s flower time! Real wedding flowers by Green Earth Flowers of Cheshire

Orchids and teacupsAnother visual spectacle today, with a little more detail from Katie and James’s wedding at Sandhole Oak Barn which I featured a few days ago. Chris Hanley was the photographer — a regular favourite on English Wedding — and he sang the praises of Laura from Green Earth Flowers.
