My top tip for you today, lovelies, is to find a place you love and get married there. It can be that simple… and you don’t have to go out of your way to find a place you love, if there’s already a place! You might have a favourite country pub, or a local beach with amazing views, or a city centre restaurant. Beautiful bride Laura & her gorgeous husband Rick found their perfect venue at the East Quay in Whitstable – with sea views and glorious natural decor inside (plus all the sparkly wonderfulness) it’s sooo perfect for a modern wedding! Today’s wedding is gorgeous – elegantly styled with white flowers and tons of foliage, and with a delicious cake table and genius Jack Daniels & cigars table too! I’ve never seen this idea before and I love it so much. But the best thing about today’s wedding is the smooches and the love between beautiful Kayleigh and Stephen. They’re clearly so head over heels in love they’ve completely forgotten about the camera – and it’s such a joyful thing to see!

Kathie and Mike’s wedding is one of those glorious days which reminds me just what it’s all about. It’s not the colour palette or how many bridesmaids there are; it’s not the dress or the flowers in your hair – it’s the love, the laughter and the once-in-a-lifetime memories you’re making together. This is exceptionally beautiful, and grabbed my heart as soon as I saw the pics by our lovely friend Sheryl at Oobaloos Photography.

Today’s wedding is pretty special, and all kinds of glamorous and elegant with a modern twist. Between Christmas and New Year is one of the loveliest times to get married – it’s a time of year when family is close to all our hearts, and that for me makes a wedding even more special.

I love the sparkling metallics dotted through Danielle and Martin’s day, the luxe fabrics and feathers, the candles and soft floral styling. It all comes together perfectly to create a decadent art deco look – and the opulent touches are perfect for the time of year!

Of course you can do the splits in your wedding dress. You can also look as effortlessly glamorous as any Hollywood leading lady, marry the gorgeous man of your dreams, smile all day long and party until you drop. And to anyone who doesn’t love a sparkler send-off? You’re wrong!

Everything about today’s fabulously glamorous and fun winter wedding will show you this is how it’s done – and it’s beautiful from beginning to end. The venue – Rudding Park in Harrogate – is fabulous. The special touches Jess and Andy incorporated into their day are wonderful (especially the mirror table plan!) – it’s all simply breathtaking. The trick is to book an amazing photographer to capture every second for you, and they nailed that too!
