You can’t beat a wedding with a really fun story. Lovely Jade and Carl invited all of their guests to their children’s christening – and surprised them with an extra: they got MARRIED!! It makes the photos of the beginning of the day even more special, knowing that for most of the guests, the whole thing was a secret surprise!
Images are by lovely Fiona at Anoif Photography, who gets a fabulous review from Jade and Carl in their interview (at the end of the blog post). Photography was the couple’s biggest spend, and one they’re very glad of – for while this was very much a DIY wedding on a budget, the images will last a lifetime and I love the piece of family history they’ve captured for our lovely bride and groom!
Warm out there, isn’t it?!! I’m loving how summery I’m feeling this week – and just before I take my little packed lunch to the beach (because I’m the luckiest wedding blogger and it’s like 2 minutes’ walk!) I have this stunning summer wedding to share with you. Beautiful bride Victoria got in touch with me a few weeks ago. She married Stephen last July and chose a quintessentially English theme for their wedding day.
We’re leaping into Wednesday with an excited squeal and a breathtaking dose of beautiful lavender. Today’s editorial will steal your heart if you’re looking for a traditional English countryside wedding with a modern aesthetic. The look is stylish and romantic, timeless and natural, with unique details. The images by Suzy Elizabeth Photography are wonderfully light and airy, styling by Wedding Elements is perfectly, beautifully on point. Our venue for the day is Nether Winchendon House, set in seven acres of traditional gardens and hundreds of acres of parkland on the Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire border.
I promised you a stunning editorial today and I hope you’ll agree this more than fits the bill! Romantic, boho bridal style and a bold take on an ever-popular modern colour palette make this shoot an absolute dream. We’re at The Walled Gardens in Nottingham with lovely Nicole & Charlotte Events and a host of rather brilliantly talented local wedding suppliers. The colour palette for table styling is rich and exciting, with teal, grey and copper making the perfect backdrop for a loose bouquet of roses, berries and eucalyptus. Enjoy!
Welcome to Monday, lovely people! I hope you’ve had a fabulous weekend. I have some wonderful wedding features lined up for you this week: today we begin with a gloriously spring-inspired Wiltshire wedding. Then we’re sharing a couple of breathtaking editorial shoots to inspire your wedding style: a rustic look and a classic English Rose wedding style photoshoot. Thursday and Friday are all about the real weddings once again (and you will LOVE these!) then we’re filing the weekend with ideas for wedding gifts and entertainment. It doesn’t really get much better than this… and today’s wedding sent in by Wiltshire wedding photographer Martin Dabek is just so wonderfully unique and beautiful – I’ve been excited to share all the glorious images with you!
