Hey lovelies! I’m back at my desk after a long weekend in the mountains, and feeling so excited to share this stunning wedding inspiration with you. It’s all about the florals, the light and bringing beautiful sunset colours into wedding styling. Images are by English Wedding member Becky Harley Photography, a favourite Hertfordshire wedding photographer. Becky’s images capture the beauty of this shoot, the work of an amazing bunch of wedding suppliers for Willow Grange Farm, situated between Cambridge and Ely.

Let’s start the week with a vibrant splash of happy colour, shall we? Lovely English Wedding member Hannah Timm Photography sent this editorial in for us – it’s filled with the most wonderful florals and beautiful styling to brighten your day. I’m head over heels in love with every little detail, from the stunning cake to the stationery and table styling – I can almost smell the sweet peas! The images speak for themselves, but I love how Hannah and Kirsten from The Little Wedding Helper explain the way the concepts all came together.

With micro weddings becoming the trend for the future, I wanted to create an outdoor styled shoot. I wanted to create a vision for couples who think big and to show that having a small micro wedding with social distancing doesn’t mean that you all need to be separate and empty.

Hey lovelies! I hope you’re looking forward to the weekend… I know, I know – we’re a day ahead but it’s sunny and I’m feeling weekendy already! So here’s a little something to make you smile and share some of those imaginary Friday vibes I’m feeling a day early! Today’s feature is a beautiful shoot from English Wedding member Sigi Kirkpatrick Photography. The Stuart Parvin dresses are just fabulous (the one that features most is “New York State of Mind”. Every detail is glorious, from Print for Love‘s elegant stationery to the stunning creation by Nightingale Cakes – and Ruby and Grace‘s florals just bring it all together beautifully. Arrangements include Provence roses, peonies and hydrangeas, elderberry, olive branches and eucalyptus, allium, lisianthks and chocolate cosmos.

Today’s wedding styled shoot needs no introduction from me other than to say you’ll want to stop everything (perhaps grab a lovely cup of camomile tea) and slow your scrolling. The images by Red Maple Photography speak for themselves; the florals and styling are divine, the dress fit for a goddess. This is internet-winning, breathtakingly beautiful stuff. I hope you love it as much as I do!

The inspiration for our photoshoot was romance. Being four women wedding suppliers, our love for romance and the romantic flair that comes from the quintessential countryside, we wanted to do a mini shoot that showcased our true passions.

For those of you settling back into a more tranquil home as kiddies head back to school today… welcome. Please come and join us in this relaxed and pretty little space of the internet, where flowers and beautiful things distract us from the bustle of our daily routines. Today we have a gorgeous, mini summer vintage styled shoot from Lauren Beth, a photographer based in East Sussex. Lauren recently arranged a mini summer vintage styled shoot with a small group of suppliers – as this took place in the midst of lockdown, where photographing couples/ models was not possible, Lauren took the opportunity to focus on the details that go into making a wedding day special!

When lovely Lauren sent me these images, she said she hopes this little shoot can inspire future couples that small wedding set ups can be just as beautiful as large gatherings. I couldn’t agree more – and I think the photos you’re about to see are all the proof we need that cosy and intimate can be ever so lovely when it comes to weddings. With love,

Looking forwards a few weeks we’ll be enjoying crisp, misty mornings and frost on the paths. There’s something wonderful about the autumn and winter months: the glistening countryside as dawn breaks, and the early golden hour creeping across the land on those last few sunny evenings. Today’s shoot is a beauty: glorious golden sunlight and warm tones in wedding styling. The dresses are out of this world – and for my stationery-loving heart, the paper goodies are simply fabulous.

I am THRILLED to be sharing this stunning wedding inspiration with you today. Not only is this all head over heels beautiful (Jasmine & Conor are gorgeous together, don’t you think?) I feel as though we’re turning a page to a new chapter for diversity on English Wedding. It’s been a while since I wrote about making some changes to become a more diverse wedding blog, and I’ve been searching for the perfect header image for the blog. The happy news is, we found it. And I’m going to LOVE looking at this every time I log on to the website! I hope you do too!

Breathtakingly beautiful - diversity wins in this stunning RSA London wedding editorial! (21)

Today’s feature is from RSA House in London, a historic, award winning venue with beautiful natural light flooding the elegant Benjamin Franklin room – complete with 18th century fireplaces and a long window overlooking the Strand.

The photoshoot was created by lovely Assumpta at AVE Creations, and blends sophisticated modern styling with traditional floral design.

Some things I’ve missed like crazy… hazy sunshine and evenings spent with friends. European sunshine and lazy days on holiday. Time to escape, to completely relax and be somewhere utterly new and refreshing. You too? Let’s hope it won’t be too long before we can safely spread our wings again. Meanwhile, I have the most beautiful photoshoot to share with you today. Our wonderful friend Tara from Pudding & Plum Photography was lucky enough to be in the Algarve before lockdown hit, and I asked her if we could publish these breathtaking images. Think dreamy wedding styling ideas and divine fashion photography in the evening sunlight.

This was a photoshoot combined with learning, which is really important to Tara as a professional wedding photographer. The Iberian Workshop was run by Liza Edgington, and Tara has written a lovely review which we hope other photographers will find interesting. The stunning images really showcase Tara’s talent, and our quick Q&A with our favourite, bubbly Leicestershire wedding photographer shows off her fabulous personality too! For couples planning a destination wedding or wanting to bring a splash of summer holiday style to their UK celebrations, the table styling and details are absolutely on point. I will leave you with Tara to tell you more! Have a lovely (blustery?!) day, lovelies!

Welcome to the weekend, lovely. I have some rather wonderful ideas to share with you this morning – and a message for those of you booking your weddings for 2021 and 2022: please, please shop local if you can. This fabulous styled shoot comes from a bunch of talented wedding creatives from Rutland. Even the dresses – which are absolutely lovely – are locally designed. The cakes, stationery, styling… it’s all just beautiful and a brilliant showcase of what independent wedding businesses can do to make your day amazing. Do share these images to your Pinterest boards, and watch our Insta as we’ll be sharing them later (bookmark and save your faves on there too!)

With love,

This elegant and timeless styled shoot brings together tradition with a nod to the latest wedding trends. Providing couples who aspire for a truly traditional English wedding, the inspiration of how to bring this to life with elements of contemporary style. Featuring dried flowers, acrylic touches, tall golden candlesticks and a showcase cake table. The colour palette focused on neutrals with touches of pink and greys.

Fair warning: we’re about to drown you in breathtaking flowers and foliage, steal your heart with a twist of authentic vintage styling and leave you swooning with one of the loveliest shoots of the summer. Huge thanks to our lovely friend Anthony from Special Day Wedding Photos, and hats off to the impressively creative bunch of wedding suppliers who made this amazingness happen! There’s a full supplier list below for you to add to your planning folders. I will leave you with lovely Katie, stylist at best.day.ever! to share her concepts with you and explain how all of this came about.

Moreton House Styled Shoot in North Devon, images by Anthony Lyons Special Day Wedding Photos (27)

Moreton House is elegant, beautifully light and open and with the former schools historical charm has endless possibilities for many wonderful weddings and events to be celebrated at this new venue. Our aim was create an inspiration shoot using local suppliers and to introduce the venue to new couples and in its launch in hosting weddings.

Sustainability is always a big thing for us here at English Wedding HQ, and so when a shoot like this BEAUTY comes along I get so excited to share it with you! Lovely Gwenda from Green Union designed, styled and coordinated this stunning shoot, which will inspire those of you looking to create a minimally styled wedding (but with wonderfully indulgent foliage) with organic, vegan, biodegradable and ethical styling touches. I’ll leave you in Gwenda’s very talented hands to learn how this fabulous wedding styling editorial came about!

In my capacity as a sustainable weddings advocate, I was invited by the very lovely Hayne House team to design, style and coordinate one of their open days, which doubles as an opportunity to capture a fully-fledged styled shoot all in one.

Sustainably stunning - eco wedding inspiration from Hayne House and Green Union (3)

The concept began with an interpretation of the classic glasshouse/conservatory (as befits the main wedding reception structure), with mid-century accents and some boho touches (my self-indulgent favourites!). Overall, I was going for a minimalist aesthetic (clean lines and a restrained colour palette), with maximalist leanings through the densely planted décor and their textural/tonal variations. There was to be a dominant palette of whites, greens and browns, with black, light-mustard and gold accents (and an occasional bee motif, for good measure).
