Hey lovelies! Are you thinking about a farm wedding? They’re becoming super popular as we all look to cut costs and the whole rustic trend still has our hearts. Oh, and of course a barn wedding will save £££ compared to a stately home or country mansion ‘do’! So today I have the loveliest farm wedding style feature to share with you. Images are by Tom Cullen Photography, with flowers by the fabulous Jo at Eliza Rose Artisan Floral Design in Loose.

The secret to styling a beautiful farm or barn wedding is to really embrace the vibe of the place. Little Fant Farm is a heritage cottage farm tucked away in the Kent countryside. The wooden sides of the barn give a warm look to the place; the shoot includes rural craft details and the styling of our bride’s dress with the beautiful embroidery just fits in perfectly. Hay bales are the cherry on a rather stunning cake… speaking of which, look at this STUNNING cake!

I have such a treat for you today, lovely! We’re filling the blog with beautiful yellow blooms and fabulous city wedding styling ideas from lovely By Chenai and Amanda Karen Photography. The dresses by Monique Lhuillier and Viktor & Rolf (from Browns Bride) are breathtaking – and the fabric backdrops just divine. I hope you love this as much as I do: I will leave you with lovely Chenai who explains her ideas so beautifully.

I teamed up with Prince Phillip House (3 Carlton House) in London’s St James area to style a mini shoot that would tell the story of a city summer wedding in London.

Working with Amanda Karen Photography and Browns Bride of London (who gave us a Fall 2019 Monique Lhuillier structured ‘Everest’ gown and Viktor & Rolf Fall 2019 gown) we wanted to tell 2 stories against the quite traditional background of the building.

We all have a favourite season – right now mine is summer, but I’ll admit: I have a new favourite at LEAST four times a year. Right now – I’m all about springtime. Cherry blossom, buds and new life appearing … and the dream of spring sunshine. So for those of you planning a spring wedding, or if you just adore the spring season, today’s feature will bring joy to your heart.

With images by the rather fabulous Chloe Ely Photography, Blossoming Beauty focuses on an emergence of beauty from an ethereal, sleepy background of winter. It juxtaposes minimalism with fine art, providing artistic inspiration for the discerning bride with an eye for detail.

With thoughtful, beautiful styling by Sarah Shuttle at Barton Court and delicate spring flowers from Hannah Lauren, the shoot evokes spring in the gentlest, most glorious way. The colours and tones on F & H Country Cakes‘ wedding cake are just out of this world!

So we’re more than halfway through the week (yay!) and I have something really unique and different to share with you. It’s a fun Tipi styled shoot, playing off the ‘bringing the outside in’ trend, with a twist. This unconventional wedding look was created and styled by the rather fabulous Florence & Vera at Cotswold Field of Dreams and planned by the folks at Timber and Canvas. The images are by lovely Elena Popa Photography, a Surrey wedding photographer who loves to work with creative, non-traditional couples! The shoot is beautifully styled, featuring peacock chairs, bridal trousers and a super fun removable train.

“What we wanted to do is take the ‘wild’, and really see how creative we can be with it. We imaged the truly unconventional bride, looking to get away from the formality and restrictions that can sometimes be felt in a wedding, and looking to create a day for people to truly have fun!

We’re leaping into Wednesday with an excited squeal and a breathtaking dose of beautiful lavender. The look is stylish and romantic, timeless and natural, with unique details. Taking inspiration from a classic Oxfordshire countryside manor, this shoot captures the romance and beauty of an English rose marrying her true love. Combining traditional elements with modern features and luxury handmade details, the shoot brings together the principal elements of a modern couple in a traditional setting. With a colour palette of lavender and sage, and hints of silver and copper, reflecting the rich colours of the stunning Oxfordshire gardens.

I promised you a stunning editorial today and I hope you’ll agree this more than fits the bill! Romantic, boho bridal style and a bold take on an ever-popular modern colour palette make this shoot an absolute dream. We’re at The Walled Gardens in Nottingham with lovely Nicole & Charlotte Events and a host of rather brilliantly talented local wedding suppliers. The colour palette for table styling is rich and exciting, with teal, grey and copper making the perfect backdrop for a loose bouquet of roses, berries and eucalyptus. Enjoy!

“The theme for our shoot was ‘Rustic Boho’, using the colours grey, copper and teal. The team we chose to work with were amazing, and really brought our vision to life!

The setting for our shoot was The Walled Garden at Beeston Fields, which really complimented the boho, countryside look we were aiming for. We were able to use the beautiful gardens, as well as the permanent marquee which has roll up sides, looking out onto the gardens. The weather was also on our side – it was beautiful!

Hey beautiful! Welcome to the weekend… and with an early morning blog post because I simply couldn’t wait any longer to share this with you! Delicious florals by Iris & Co complement the dress perfectly, and the wonderfully natural images just go to show that a little rain can never dampen the beauty of an English wedding.

We are pulling out ALL the stops today to make your Monday as beautiful as a Monday could ever be. Delectable details, divine styling touches and fine art wedding images to fill your hearts and delight your happy eyes!

Now I do adore details. The soft movement of a piece of silk or lace, the gentle flow, like waves, of a torn piece of cotton rag paper – and a stroke of calligraphy. Gently shining jewellery and accessories, the sheer perfection of a delicate bloom or a tendril of foliage escaping from a bouquet: these things make me happy.

Sent in by a team of creative wedding suppliers in the north west of England, today’s blog feature explores fine art styling and dreamy close ups to showcase a vintage inspired wedding look in a modern setting. Images are by lovely Jo Bradbury Photography, and words are by talented lingerie and veil designer Maxine of Bride Sew Beautiful.

Sustainable, vegan and organic wedding styling ideas from the UK (3)

Today’s wedding inspiration comes from the beautiful venue of South Farm in Cambridgeshire. Styling is rustic luxe with a focus on sustainability, incorporating organic fabrics, a vegan cake and ethically sourced glassware, all curated by lovely Janine at Waterfall Wedding Decor.

It’s becoming more and more viable to have a sustainable and vegan wedding in 2019 and beyond. Suppliers are switching on to sustainability more than ever before, and in every category from cake designers to stationers, wedding dress makers and caterers you WILL find a wonderful, ethical supplier if you put in a little research.

We love the vegan grazing stand produced by B and R Dining, set on luxury tables made from wood sourced from UK-based sustainable forests and ethically-sourced glassware from The White Company supplied by Waterfall Wedding Decor. Tara’s Halo & Wren dress is divine; teamed with bespoke accessories and shoes made by Rachel Sokhal the look is just dreamy; and my absolute favourite is the contemporary vegan square cake designed by One Part Love.
