Two cultures, two glorious days of joyful London weddings for Cecil & Rona, with York Place Studios (24)

This Cecil Sharp House wedding makes me smile every time I see it. There’s an ongoing story thread I love, involving a tube with children in it. This is brilliantly documentary in style – in a year when stories and family connections will feel more important than ever, it couldn’t be more perfect.

A romantic, joyful micro wedding from the Welsh coast – with glorious summer flowers and the most stunning wedding dress for our beautiful bride. The dancing begins outside the church… and these two just don’t stop moving from there! I love the happiness and celebration here – I hope it makes you smile!

These two gorgeous, adventurous souls were married back in December 2019 in Thirsk. We love the personal touches and eclectic styling of their wedding: Naomi is stunning in a beautifully detailed Pronovias gown and the smiles are just what we need to brighten a chilly winter day! With love and thanks to a wonderful couple – Naomi & Pete, we salute you! and much gratitude to Yorkshire wedding photographer and #englishweddingmember M and G Wedding Photography for sharing their fabulous images of a cosy and eclectic winter wedding.

Over the Christmas break I’ll be sharing some favourite weddings over on our Instagram – so do, do catch me over there, as it’s going to be beautiful!! Here on the blog, this is our parting shot for 2020… and a stunning, gorgeous wedding to take us all the way through to 2021. I’VE NEVER LOOKED FORWARD TO A DATE MORE IN MY LIFE!

This morning couldn’t have worked out better. I want to end 2020 on a really positive note – and with the most heartfelt thank yous to our wonderful couple Sophie and Chris, I’m about to share something AMAZING. This year has been heartbreaking – we’ve lost people, we’ve postponed weddings, we’ve missed everyone we love. My friends and wedding creatives have suffered unbelievably, and for many of us, I know we just want to write off 2020 and start over with a fresh and positive 2021.

But that’s no way to end the year for a wedding blog, is it?!
