My top tip for you today, lovelies, is to find a place you love and get married there. It can be that simple… and you don’t have to go out of your way to find a place you love, if there’s already a place! You might have a favourite country pub, or a local beach with amazing views, or a city centre restaurant. Beautiful bride Laura & her gorgeous husband Rick found their perfect venue at the East Quay in Whitstable – with sea views and glorious natural decor inside (plus all the sparkly wonderfulness) it’s sooo perfect for a modern wedding! A LOT goes on at weddings. They’re magical, romantic… and the busiest days of our lives! With everyone we know all in one place, a schedule to be kept and plans to be followed, it’s no wonder the day goes by in a blur. The top piece of advice couples give in their English Wedding interviews is to take a moment to stop and take it all in, because everything happens in such a rush!

If you love flowers, designer gowns and wedding pics that tell a real story, you’ve come to the right wedding blog today! I absolutely loe everything about Claire & Mike’s wedding at Nancarrow Farm. They are such a lovely couple – and they’ve styled everything with so much personality, I love it. The portraits are gorgeous, the story of their day comes across wonderfully in the images by lovely Alexa Poppe Photography. Claire’s Catherine Deane gown is exquisite, matched only by the fabulous style of Mike’s Beggar’s Run bespoke suit! All the love for this beautiful day – enjoy!

Hey lovelies! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Who else dug out their favourite jumpers this weekend? I’m loving feeling all snuggly in mine today!! We have a lovely week ahead on English Wedding with some gorgeous real weddings lined up, a stunning dress feature and expert tips on floral styling for barn weddings… but first, let’s start the week with something truly beautiful. Richard and Claire married at The Italian Villa in Poole last October. Claire looks super cute in her lovely Galina Couture gown which has to be one of the most amazing dresses we’ve ever seen on the blog! WOW!! The wedding is full of smiles and gorgeous styling which I hope you’ll love as much as I do!

You can hire a country manor, fill it with flowers and spend countless weeks cutting and pasting designs for your invites and table plan… but wedding blogs are here to show you you don’t have to do any of that. You can create a brilliantly amazing and memorable wedding your guests will love without all the bits people expect – just like gorgeous bride and groom Diane and Michael did. I love how they describe their day – the focus was on brilliant food and drink, making sure their guests were looked after, and choosing 3 fabulous venues for their ceremony, reception and evening party. I love it: the whole day looks and sounds just perfect – a wedding blogger’s dream!
