Hey there lovely, how was your weekend? I’m sure I’m still covered in paint after a weekend’s decorating – and oh so ready for some wedding pretty on the blog this morning! As always, we have a STUNNING feature to kick off the week. Huge thanks to lovely Toby Lowe Photography for sending us this beautiful editorial shoot for today. I love this – the vibrant colours of the roses are stunning, the sunlight is amazing, the styling and details are gorgeous. Absolutely perfect – and all those roses are very ‘English Wedding’!!!
Happy New Year everyone! Warmest welcomes from me if you’re new to English Wedding – oh, and huge congratulations if you’ve got a brand new sparkly thing on your finger!!! Exciting times are ahead and I’m here to inspire you through your wedding planning journey. Come & grab a cuppa and I’ll introduce you to everyone at English Wedding.
If your spouse to be is out on their bike this Sunday afternoon, then this is for YOU! If you’ve both been cycling today and you’re relaxing after an exhilarating day in the saddle, then you’re going to love this more than anything you’ve ever seen on a wedding blog. Natalie and James – who’s a keen cyclist! – had a cycling themed wedding in August, and incorporated some ingenious styling touches into their day. They chose Rockbeare Manor wedding photographer Martin Dabek to capture the day so beautifully! I love the bicycle wheels with foliage on the walls, the table plan with a shelf full of cyclists… actually I love the whole day. And can we skip straight to that cake?!! The beautiful cake was made by Yvonne at Cherry Blossom Cakes and decorated with flowers by Emma at Brompton Buds.
When a wedding photographer gets in touch with one of the most magical weddings they’ve ever shot… well, it’s just impossible not to peek, squeal and get reeeeaaallly excited about sharing it with you lovely lot! Rob and Lisa’s wedding absolutely lives up to its introduction from lovely Carla at Daze of Glory Photography, with gorgeous styling touches, beautiful light and a sense of effortless, natural elegance.

My top tip for your wedding is to let your daughter wear her rainbow roller-skates, and skate down the aisle!! Lovelies, this is one of my favourite weddings of the year – gorgeous Katherine and Nick made pretty much everything themselves, and planned a relaxed, informal celebration at Whitemoor Farm with a really individual and unique style. It’s just FABULOUS – you’re going to love all of this! Images are by lovely Devon wedding photographer and English Wedding team member Anthony from Special Day Wedding Photos.
