The jury’s out on whether this is a festival-style wedding, or a festival with a wedding in it. Because this amazing pair’s festival game is strong! All the love for GORGEOUS couple Jamie & Luke for celebrating their way. This wedding / festival rocks its socks off, and we’re all in for the party of the decade!

Our beautiful bride and groom had the look, taste and sound of a real mini festival, with fire dancers (keep scrolling – they’re at the end!) and bands and musicians playing full sets before the DJ took over late in the evening.

Vibrant colour, a gloriously fun and joyful aesthetic, and a wedding which went by in a blur of laughter and love! Today we’re beaming with happy Friday-ness as we share gorgeous couple Sophie & Kris’s Hothorpe wedding, with images by the fabulous Hannah Hall Photography.

Wedding photographer review

Hannah was absolutely incredible! Not only was she an epic photographer that delivered the most gorgeous shots, she was a lifeline navigating pandemic planning and was so helpful on the day helping us make the most of every little moment.

Some things I’ve missed like crazy… hazy sunshine and evenings spent with friends. European sunshine and lazy days on holiday. Time to escape, to completely relax and be somewhere utterly new and refreshing. You too? Let’s hope it won’t be too long before we can safely spread our wings again. Meanwhile, I have the most beautiful photoshoot to share with you today. Our wonderful friend Tara from Pudding & Plum Photography was lucky enough to be in the Algarve before lockdown hit, and I asked her if we could publish these breathtaking images. Think dreamy wedding styling ideas and divine fashion photography in the evening sunlight.

Hey Lovely! I’m having the busiest day with calligraphy orders in my little studio today, so apologies for the slightly later-than-usual blog post! I’m excited to share this pretty folk festival styled wedding which was done on a tight budget, believe it or not! The personal touches make this day ever so special: both Lauren & Stefan are involved with the morris dancing & folk music scene, which adds a wonderful traditional, old English flavour to their day! The gorgeous couple had a friend play Lauren down the aisle and were given a morris guard of honour as they left the church before having a dance. They used Lauren’s fathers old American Camaro for the transport and had two different bands in the evening, one of which was Stefan’s dad’s band!

Canals have a romance all of their very own, don’t you think? If you’ve ever strolled along a canal before sunset you’ll know how wonderfully tranquil those towpaths can be. The adventure of drifting through England’s hidden waterways is one I dream of experiencing, one day. So Heather and Michael’s day has my heart: their photos by the locks are beautiful; their tipi reception is full of character and quaint old English charm – it’s perfect.
