A glamorous wedding in Hampshire
This morning my little typing fingers have been sat quietly — I was stuck! Where to start with this gorgeous Hampshire wedding day… the breathtaking wedding photography by Elton Mogg (staircase… flowers…) or beautiful bride Hayley (swirling around in her dress with all the bridesmaids — magic!) — the elegance of the wedding venue (Rivervale Barn) or maybe the wedding dress itself (a wonderfully girly, swishy beautiful Sassi Holford gown).
Beckie Gregory — the lovely lady behind Temple Gregory wedding planners in London and Hampshire — showed me some of the photos from Hayley and David’s wedding late last year — and I loved them. This is like supreme glamour in weddings: the most exquisite, luxurious, beautiful everything you can see on a wedding blog.

Beauty and class: Dartmouth House wedding
Anthea and Nimish had a perfectly elegant, wonderfully stylish wedding at Dartmouth House in London. An exclusive wedding venue for a couple whose calm, sophisticated personalities fit beautifully with the luxurious surroundings.
I will always believe that weddings should be ‘you’ in that they are a celebration of your own style and personality — and whether your wedding’s held in a tipi or a mansion, you should feel at home. Anthea and Nimish fit this venue like a glove. The wedding photographs by Brett Symes Photography exude the same elegance and style.
Katya and Prakash at Syon Park part 2
Morning! Yesterday I featured Kateryna and Prakash’s wedding from Syon Park: a feast for the eyes, a real delight with the most luxurious wedding venue, a stunning bride and groom and lots of gorgeous portraits and pics of a wonderful celebration.
Today wedding photographer Natasha Thompson shares some more pics of the day, elegant posed pics and more of the story of the wedding reception. Groom Prakash tells us how this glorious wedding day unfolded from the point we left the happy couple after they signed the register and joined their guests.
A luxury Syon Park wedding
Elegance and class is what today’s wedding blog is all about. Kateryna and Prakash were married at Syon Park — true luxury and a real feast for the eyes! I make no apology for the lavish setting, the fabulous chequered floors and marble statues, the chaises longues and portraits of the ancestors, the panelled ceilings and ornate gardens.
Kateryna is worthy of any grand portrait herself, and she and Prakash make a handsome couple. Either of these two would stop traffic wearing jeans! — but in their wedding day finery they both look amazing.
Suzy and Bruno’s spectacular Hengrave Hall wedding 2
Morning everyone! I hope you slept well last night… or were you, like me, wondering if our lovely groom Bruno would survive yesterday’s flower girl feather stick ambush?! Well I have good news for you… he did! And today I’m delighted to bring you part two of the 200th real wedding on English Wedding Blog.

English Wedding Blog’s 200th real wedding!
This one had to be special. When I blog a wedding I look for creativity, for ideas, for beauty. English Wedding blog features are about elegance and quality, about enjoyment, diversion and making our eyes happy. Real wedding number two hundred had to have something more.
I found Suzy and Bruno’s wedding on Chris Hanley’s blog. It’s packed with wow — so much so, I’m blogging the wedding day in three parts. Today: join me in a virtual stroll around Hengrave Hall wedding venue where we’ll set the scene for the day, meet the beautiful Suzy, her charming new husband Bruno and their pretty bridesmaids all enjoying the luxury of one of Suffolk’s finest stately homes.

Emma and Richard’s wedding at Homme House is a real treat: it couldn’t be more English Wedding–y if we were all sitting here drinking Earl Grey and munching on scones while reading this blog post and waving union jacks*. I loved it the minute I saw this wedding on Anneli Marinovich’s wedding photography blog. Wedding day croquet on the lawn? Yes please!
Emma is absolutely beautiful, and Anneli captures her radiance so well in these pictures. There are many more I couldn’t fit on the blog post so I’ll urge you all to look at Anneli’s wedding blog post at the end! For now, enjoy my favourite photos from this quintessentially English wedding day.
Jerk and Jam – A vintage English country wedding with a Caribbean twist
A wedding blogger’s dream… the perfect fairytale wedding jam packed full of details and DIY, a bride who has had the most amazing time creating the perfect day. A glamorous couple, a loving family and a story which is guaranteed to make you cry.
Especially in the light of the blog post on Hindsight Bride last week, I’m already enjoying sharing this perfect fairytale wedding with you. There are tons of details. There is everything you could see in the very best wedding magazine. Because everyone is different, and for Sally and Gareth this meant a very personal wedding with bells, whistles and a cherry on top. With photos by Dwiko Arie, this really is a dream wedding day.
Real wedding film from Thornton Manor
Victoria and David’s wedding is gorgeous — when Sara and Tony from Marry Me Films got in touch I instantly fell in love with this film from their Thornton Manor wedding. Victoria is a real English beauty, and her wedding dress covered in lace and sparkles is really, really lovely.
So today’s blog post is a quickie for me to write! Enjoy the wedding film — Paul Weller provides the romantic soundtrack by the way — and watch out for that first view of the magnificent ceiling* inside Thornton Manor. A beautiful, classy Cheshire wedding — blog two
Yesterday I shared Andrea and Richard’s classy wedding in Cheshire. They were married in July and despite the rain it was a beautiful celebration: not least for Andrea’s stunning halterneck wedding dress and the inclusion of their adorable little son and the cutest EVER bridesmaid and flower girl.
