I love Carolyn from The Pavilion at Lane End, I really do… but she always sends me articles (and pictures) of the most gorgeous, delicious-looking food. On a hardworking Monday afternoon I’m even more tempted to reach for some fabulous sugar therapy!… This is dangerous! And yet – as a bride- or groom-to-be, YOU have a legitimate reason to drool over these wonderful little ideas. Enjoy. Oh and Carolyn – I love you really: you’re the best!

“It is so easy to get inundated with predictable and uninspiring wedding ideas – so when something so truly unique and of such high quality comes along, you simply must take notice (and we decided to include it in our all-singing-all-dancing wedding package for The Pavilion).

Hey everyone, welcome to Friday! Yay 🙂 I’ll be out on my latest adventures when you read this, on a major birthday shopping excursion for my man and looking forward to reliving my youth at a concert this weekend… but first, a little bit of something yummy for us all to share…

I’m about to tempt you with handcrafted, gourmet raspberry marshmallows in a pretty bag… or limited edition strawberry cheesecake cookie pops with a kraft tag and baker’s twine… sound good?!

Mollie from Yumbles got in touch with me in June. (Brilliant name, isn’t it?!) Yumbles is an online food and drink marketplace connecting food lovers with the UK’s best independent producers – and they’re proud to have recently introduced a range of unique and original wedding favours on Yumbles.com, all handmade by their wonderful sellers. You can see them here:

Morning everyone! Who’d like one of my sherbet strawberries? Wish I could hand them out and share with you all! I’ve been eating them on your behalf – of course! – as the guys from retro sweet shop The Gobstopper asked me to tell you about their options for wedding favours and candy buffets. They have a cool range of retro sweets along with glass jars and paper bags for your wedding favours and candy buffets.

I couldn’t resist a little photo shoot – those of you who follow me on Facebook will know I got photobombed in the process! The kilner jar from The Gobstopper is filled with sherbet strawberries and kola cubes (I ate all the rhubarb and custards, oops!) – and you get a nice amount of sweeties for your money.

It’s great that they send the jars too – so for candy buffets everything arrives ready for your wedding – no need to measure your own sweets into jars to display.

Ooooh yum! A warning, perhaps, before you go any further: don’t read on an empty stomach! This blog post will make you want fudge, and right now 🙂 I have to admit I first discovered Fudge Kitchen and their wedding favours before breakfast earlier this week. The craving is still going! Anyway – for those of you still here, read this and think about having such lovely (and universally pleasing!) wedding favours… enjoy! Claire x

Hi everyone! Just a quick blog post for you this lovely Friday morning as I’m going to be out and about shortly. I just had to share these quirky wedding ideas for Save the Dates, place settings and other bits and bobs from the brilliantly-named Cross-Eyed Fox (based in Coppull, Lancashire). I think you’ll love them!

Owner Lauren got in touch to tell me how she started out selling a unique range of custom made and bespoke gifts and products. She’s exhibited at wedding fairs over recent months and is really enjoying creating new product ideas for weddings.

There are a few photos of items available from The Cross-Eyed Fox here for you to browse, but do go and take a look through the website: www.thecrosseyedfox.com

The basis for Lauren’s entire wedding range is creativity and unique design, offering brides a bespoke, beautifully made and more importantly affordable range of products.

I’m forever hopping from one side of the fence to the other when it comes to wedding favours. Yes, it’s lovely to give a little ‘something’ as a gesture – if your guests will appreciate it and if your wedding budget allows. But there are some dull favours out there too! My personal favourites are of the edible variety… handmade cookies in a little packet, rustic jars of jam and the like. I also like the sound of personalised thank you notes, just one of the ideas in this article Carol has written for us all today. Oh, and the lego one. Classic! Enjoy the article, and share your thoughts and ideas below if you have a sec! Claire x
