I am desperate for summer to kick in! I know it’s only the 4th of February, but still… I can taste spring in the air, I’m sure I can. Maybe it’s these sunflowers…
Katie and Richard are gorgeous. Katie’s dress is just divine, and (as I think I mentioned yesterday!) I do love a couple who choose outfits with something just a little different. Honestly – this is such a personal and individual wedding and I think it’s fabulous. The day is bright and summery, their smiles are infectious, the styling touches they chose for their tipi reception are fabulously colourful and creative…
Nothing quite beats the warmth of a tipi wedding – and Sarah and Matthew used theirs as the focal point for a festival-style celebration on the family farm. The little touches and flowers are gorgeous; but the loveliest thing about today’s wedding is Sarah – she’s so beautiful in a blush pink gown which just suits the day perfectly (and is amazing for dancing in!)
Canals have a romance all of their very own, don’t you think? If you’ve ever strolled along a canal before sunset you’ll know how wonderfully tranquil those towpaths can be. The adventure of drifting through England’s hidden waterways is one I dream of experiencing, one day. So Heather and Michael’s day has my heart: their photos by the locks are beautiful; their tipi reception is full of character and quaint old English charm – it’s perfect.
