Lovely couple Pippa & David had a joyful spring elopement in Dartmoor back in the days when spring was simply glorious spring, and we could all go out and get wed and do all the wonderful things! I wanted to share it with you today as a reminder that normality WILL resume, and that the future can still be more beautiful than ever. Patience, my lovelies – this will pass. So let’s join the happy couple who took spring as the inspiration behind their wedding theme. The sense of joy and optimism at seeing the first green shoots of the season and splashes of yellow daffodils. Their vision was for everything to be fresh and vibrant, offset by white and earthy tones and textures. Their wedding venue Ever After – A Dartmoor Wedding took care of all the sourcing and styling, and Pippa & David’s day is just perfect. All images are captured by super lovely human and wedding photographer Clare Kinchin Photography.

Happy Monday, beautiful! I have the most wonderful wedding to share with you today, from Whitney Court in Herefordshire. The colours and style are elegant and warming – Matt and Liz used navy and gold, to create a cosy, candlelit, autumnal wedding – and it is just stunning, from the overall atmosphere of the day through to the tiniest little details. The flowers by Les Fleurs are exquisite, Liz’s Ted Baker dress is out of this world – with Matt her perfect match in a Ted Baker suit – and the reception is styled so beautiful it takes my breath away. It’s no surprise that Liz is a wedding stylist, and I’m delighted to say Elizabeth Weddings is also a member of English Wedding – you’ll find her in our wedding supplier directory, and at https://elizabethweddings.co.uk (where her clients’ fabulous reviews say it all!).

Lovers of florals, colour, fragrance and whimsical romance, gather round! Today’s wedding inspiration is wonderfully colourful and fun and romantic… all inspired by a golden swan and brought to life by a fabulously creative bunch of wedding suppliers in lovely Leicestershire.

The shoot is by Claire of Lefkas Weddings, who styled the shoot and wanted to use bright colours and jewel tones in contrast to the summer weddings she usually creates with her destination wedding planning company. The images are by destination wedding photographer Maxeen Kim and the bride’s beautiful dress is by Bronx and Banco, combining tiered, lace skirt with a soft, romantic look. It was paired with velvet Ted Baker heels, which everyone wanted to take home! The groom wore a velvet jacket lined with bird pattern fabric adding a hint of fun to the outfit and a nod to the theme.

Morning, beautiful! So today – a very special wedding and from a fabulous venue and one of my fave UK wedding photographers, Linus Moran Photography. Gorgeous bride and dapper groom Emma & Alex were married in Dorset on a wonderfully sunny day, and scrolling through their pics just makes me HAPPY! The florals (by West Dorset Wedding Flowers) are divine – this is an outdoor wedding which manages to capture the timelessness of a church wedding, with the couple saying their vows by a floral-covered stone archway. The styling is romantic and classic – it’s everything a quintessentially English wedding should be!

Happy Friday folks! Ah… how on earth is it the end of the week already?! We’ve had the most amazing week of wedding inspiration on the blog, and I have so much planned to share with you over the weekend and next week too! But first – I like to share something really beautiful every Friday: as work is winding down we can all afford a little longer for lunch, right? So today we’re sharing Alexandra and Hugo’s marquee wedding with tons of handmade touches (beautiful bride Alexandra bought and arranged ALL the flowers, as well as making the stationery!) and gorgeous styling.
