Lovers of tropical colours, vibrant details and playful wedding styling will enjoy today’s fun wedding feature from sunny Suffolk, with wedding photographer Ayshea Goldberg, one of our lovely English Wedding Blog sponsors! This is fabulous, funky and bold wedding DIY… and it rocks!

Words & images by Ayshea Goldberg Photography

This wedding at the http://www.westletoncrown.co.uk was on such a hot summer day.  Jess’s tropical colour scheme looked amazing on such a sunny day.  Cerise pink and fiery orange bouquets and centre pieces really popped against the cool black and white venue décor.  The homemade pom poms in the skylight were a fun touch and tied the styling together really well.

I loved that Jess and Ben had planned to go on a drive after they said ‘I do’ to the beach.  We’d planned to have some personal portraits and for them to enjoy a drive through the countryside in their vintage car.

Ah… a beautifully styled contemporary wedding with just a little hint of vintage. Kate and David’s big day is gorgeous and inspiring. I know you’ll love it! Kate wore a Stephanie Allin gown with Rainbow Couture shoes, and the couple kept venue decorations simple (to beautiful effect!) Their Suffolk wedding at Smeetham Hall Barn looks fantastic and it’s thanks to wedding photographer Jeff Turnbull (www.jeffturnbull.co.uk) they have such wonderful images to remember their day by.

The little love birds are adorable – I love little touches like this! – and the bunting with calligraphic initials is gorgeous… so enjoy this wedding on the blog and read slowly: there are so many lovely details to inspire you, and also Kate and David’s wedding report at the end of the feature is full of great advice.

Nicky and Natalie’s wedding has everything a wedding blogger could wish for and more: romantic hugs, gorgeous design (Vivienne Westwood anyone?), and fabulous details which combine rustic with modern elements. The wedding venue and decor, by the way, is sublime! Dream Occasions‘ Bernadette Chapman worked her magic there, and helped with the wedding story for this blog post as well!

There are beautiful pictures – courtesy of the lovely wedding photographer Mark Bothwell – and plenty of ideas for other couples to include in rustic but elegant weddings. But most of all, this is one of those weddings which has that fantastic sense of freedom: a humanist ceremony, some glorious moments with friends and family, and a couple who wear their hearts on their sleeves. Nicky and Natalie are beautiful and inspiring. I hope you love today’s wedding blog as much as I do.

Morning everyone! I hope you slept well last night… or were you, like me, wondering if our lovely groom Bruno would survive yesterday’s flower girl feather stick ambush?! Well I have good news for you… he did! And today I’m delighted to bring you part two of the 200th real wedding on English Wedding Blog.

Thanks again to Chris Hanley Photography for sharing such incredible images for this feature. I am always blown away by the magic inside Chris’s camera. Today we’re back at Hengrave Hall in Suffolk for more from beautiful Suzy and Bruno – who is responsible for my favourite image from this wedding day: the most loving hug you’ll ever see on a wedding blog!

Enjoy. xx

This is a lovely idea: the tiny panels of glass in the windows of Hengrave Hall afford us a private glimpse of Suzy and Bruno together. I love proper panelled glass windows when they sparkle in the sunshine – to see them used so beautifully in a wedding picture is a treat!
