Today’s featured wedding was a classic white wedding with the most beautiful church arch. A very relaxed elegant feel with lots of involvement from the family – and the prettiest florals you can imagine. I just love the archway covered in flowers and foliage by lovely Caroline, owner of Foxy Buds Floral Design – it makes the prettiest backdrop for photos and has a traditional feel to it which I think is wonderful.
I can’t help stumbling across all these amazing weddings… where you lovely lot are finding the sunshine I have no idea… but oh my goodness you’re making the whole internet beautiful!
Who’s in the mood for a special treat this lovely afternoon? Because – it’s your lucky day, I have just the thing! Described as ‘the happiest bride on the planet’ and incredibly beautiful, Steph married her soulmate John a few weeks ago in rural Staffordshire – and I can’t resist showing you their wedding!
The gorgeous couple married at Domvilles Farm guest house, which is the most charming rural setting you can imagine. The cherry blossom was still at its very best and the details of the day were chosen to compliment the season. There’s pretty gypsophila and a delicate rose bouquet; a naked cake complete with Wookie (click the ‘see more’ link for that one!), handwritten chalk board menu and table plan and a gorgeous teepee…
Ripley Arts Centre is a gorgeous wedding venue in Bromley – a charming Victorian house tucked away in London’s leafy suburbs… and with the loveliest gardens you’ll see. I adored Nicola and Chris’s wedding when I spotted it on Simon Biffen’s photography blog. Their sense of style is just wonderful – everything from Nicola’s gorgeous dress and Chris’s suit to their cat, smiles and balloons made me smile!
Their reception is beautifully and tastefully decorated with jars of gypsophila and vintage china – it’s really lovely and a style that won’t break the bank – I think it’s wonderful.
I’m never happier than with my nose in a book – and a book lovers’ wedding is guaranteed to tickle my blogging fancy every time! So I’m delighted to show you Holly and Tom’s Somerset wedding today. They married at Taunton School and held their reception in the school library: a wood panelled room with a high, arched ceiling and shelves full of gorgeous, wonderful, beautiful books!
