Every time I scroll through the images from Holly & Adam’s Derbyshire wedding I fall in love with them all over again! This is truly beautiful: a wedding bursting with vintage glamour, with a wonderful focus on beautiful flowers and plenty of personal touches. Not forgetting those light up letters… I think I need some of these in my life!

Holly and Adam married at the Peak Edge Hotel in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Their wedding decor was inspired by Pinterest, created with the help of friends and family and made unique by Holly’s own style and creativity.

Happy weekend lovelies! I’m having a chilled out Saturday morning before I head into the Lake District later for a little adventure BUT before I go, I can’t resist sharing these sneak peeks of an awesome wedding by Shaun Taylor Photography. Laura and Scott had a unique and memorable wedding just bursting with personality from the bride’s gorgeous 1950s style dress and hairpiece to the groom’s delish polka dot bowtie and bridesmaid dresses…

“Recently I photographed Sarah and Rob’s wedding in Bakewell, Derbyshire and I really wanted to share it with all of the English Wedding Blog readers.

The English Wedding blog is a great resource for inspiration on how you can personalise your wedding with DIY tips and sourcing super talented and highly unique suppliers and quite often, when photographing weddings I see all of this come to fruition.

And so was the case for Sarah and Rob’s wedding in Bakewell, Derbyshire. So much personality in the way in which they’ve styled the day and the key events that happened which made for some beautiful moments. What made this even more special was that it was truly intimate. There was no great fanfare, no invitation to the world and his friends, but just a simple and elegant demonstration of their commitment to each other witnessed by their two closest friends.

Eeeek! Here’s an exciting wedding for you to see – it’s in a windmill! Tuxford windmill is the last working windmill in Nottinghamshire, and had never been used as a wedding venue before. Today’s fabulous, wonderful, amazing couple Rebecca and Sam wanted to do something new, and so they chose this awesome location for their reception.

They made the very most of the windmill for their wedding reception after getting married at East Markham parish church. After the church service, the happy couple hopped on the back of a tractor and headed for their windmill – I love saying that! – for the reception…

Sam and Rebecca used local produce including the windmill’s own products – check out the wedding favours, for example. They used beautiful bright colours to decorate a marquee by the windmill, with the loveliest bunting, mismatched vintage china plates and glorious summer flowers.

Did you see Sally and Richard’s stunning English countryside wedding on the blog back in November? I LOVED it. They married at Hassop Hall and their wedding photographer was the lovely Shaun Taylor.

I loved my cousin’s wedding at Hassop Hall in Derbyshire – it was a beautiful celebration, Jenny looked amazing and Charlie every bit the English gent – a wedding I’ll never forget. I’ve been waiting for years for someone to send me another Hassop Hall wedding to feature on the blog, and finally – at last! it’s happened. Today I bring you the most beautiful English countryside wedding courtesy of gorgeous bride and groom Sally and Richard.

I love this wedding for so many reasons – Hassop Hall is just an incredible venue in rural Derbyshire and I absolutely fell in love with the place. Sally and Richard are a fun, creative and fabulous-looking couple, and they made their wedding day really personal with lots of details from little homemade pots of jam with labels, to photo frame table numbers – which are brilliant! and then the “Welsh Bob Marley and an air hostess cake topper”… it’s genius. I love it!

Hello everyone! Are you ready for today’s beautiful wedding? Paul and Abi went for a rustic home made wedding style, which was perfect for their venue -the charming and cosy Donington Park Farmhouse Hotel (I’ve always associated Donington with music hehe – it’s nice to learn a little more about such a lovely place!) So we have tons of handmade details with blue gingham ribbon, a photo wall, lots of gypsophila and magical sparkle from fairy lights and tea lights dotted around the venue.

Oh! And let’s not forget the beautiful bride in her stunning lace dress – Abi says she’s a little camera-shy while Paul loves the attention, but I think they both look amazing in the photos – and so in love! Read all about their Derbyshire wedding in Abi’s wedding report at the end of the blog feature today, and enjoy the lovely images from Shaun Taylor Photography. Congratulations to a fabulous couple (and even more congratulations for the bump news!!!) and big thanks to Shaun for submitting such a beautiful wedding to the English Wedding Blog! I hope you enjoy it.

I’m always awestruck by the time and effort that goes into planning a wedding, so reading that Melissa designed her own wedding dress really impressed me! Add in all the creative touches to this beautiful English wedding and this is instantly a blog favourite.

The gorgeous couple have the most romantic story and their wedding is simply wonderful too. Watch out for the cutest leaf name place settings, apple menu holders, flower jars with rustic twine, log table numbers and the burlap seating plan… all out of this world. The highlight of course has to be Melissa’s dress – I know you’ll love it.

Congratulations to the lovely Melissa and Jamie, and thank you to Shaun Taylor Photography for submitting their wedding for us all to share today. Enjoy! Claire xxx
