Happy spooky weekend, my lovelies! I hope you all have fabulous plans and wonderful outfits! As the end of October festivities kick off, we’re thrilled to be sharing Candy & Sam’s Victorian gothic inspired Hallowe’en wedding, sent in by luxury wedding planner Elegante by Michelle J.

The styling is as beautiful as Hallowe’en ever saw. The tables glisten with candles nestled in sumptuous floral arrangements. The stationery is exquisite: vintage Hallowe’en in style with moons and stars… and Love Potion alongside bottles of ‘Poison’ on the tables! Candy is just stunning and Sam her perfect handsome groom – and the atmosphere of the day is joyful, exuberant and full on party vibes!!!

Lovely Kerrie from Vivienne May weddings sent this fabulous shoot in – I just love the festoon lighting, the magnificent florals and the super cute dinky painted macaroons! The delicate shoulder details on the bride’s dress are lovely, and it makes me very happy indeed to see a groom styled without a tie for a summer wedding. (Huge fan of simple shirts and waistcoats here – always plan to lose suit jackets immediately after the ceremony, guys – especially for a boho wedding day!) The florals are the star of the show – they are incredible! Beautifully arranged by Julia Dilworth, these absolutely make the teepee atmosphere and I just know you’ll love them. I’ll hand over to Kerrie to tell you more. Have an excellent weekend, everyone! (Enjoy a little respite from the heatwave – I can’t wait for just a little rain!) “english

Good morning, beautiful! I hope you’ve had the loveliest of weekends. I taught a really relaxed and fun calligraphy class in Manchester on Friday – the sweetest bunch of students and so talented I was barely needed! Then a weekend at Lancaster music festival… it’s been a fun one, but boy am I sleepy this morning! Today’s wedding though… oh this has brightened my heart already. It’s perfect. Beautiful bride Beth married her handsome hubby Lewis in Wales, styling their day with simple white and green touches – and bridesmaids in trouser suits kicking up a storm!! I just love this and know you will too. Thank you to our wonderful friend and sponsor, South Wales wedding photographer Martin Dabek Photography for sending us such a stunning wedding to share!

Our midweek wedding is a blissful, breathtaking, glorious celebration of love at Nottingham’s Carriage Hall. Stephanie and Peter were married in April, which they chose as a time of new beginnings – and the perfect month to start their married life! The lovely couple always knew they wanted a humanist wedding ceremony: “Humanism celebrates the idea that we have one life to lead, so we need to live it in the here and now, that we need to make the most of life’s beauty and riches every day; it focuses on the goodness of humanity and community, family and friends; and the importance of love.
