How is your week going? Do you have sunshine? It’s been beautiful here… I think spring is my favourite season of all when it’s like this! I could almost be on my laptop in the garden right now!
We’ve had a week of beautiful weddings and features, and today’s is a real favourite: the relaxed and elegant styling is fabulous; Lucy & James are gorgeous and their day looks so much fun. Spring comes to wedding bloggers in a flurry of engagement shoot submissions and I LOVE it! At this time of year summer wedding planning hits new heights – couples are ordering wedding invitations and booking those last key suppliers, and it kind of feels like summer weddings will be here before we know it! Many of you will be checking in with your photographers and quite possibly having an engagement shoot in the next few weeks. Yay for you if you are – I promise, you’ll love it! Today I’m sharing some advice with those of you who might not be sure if you need an engagement shoot… because I just happen to have seven pretty solid reasons why engagement shoots are brilliant!

Beautiful bride Natalie and gorgeous hubby James were married in The Barn at Burley Manor last March – their rustic wedding day has everything (sooo much to Pin!) with lush flowers and foliage and joyful country charm throughout. The atmosphere is electric; these two are SO much in love! And the images are the kind of stop-in-your-tracks beauties you’ll be swooning over all day!
It’s more than wonderful to see a gorgeous bridal bouquet given the attention it deserves – and Dorset photographer Robin Goodlad captures this beauty like a pro! Beautiful Martine and Nick’s wedding day is full of visual treats, glamorous styling and thoughtful details – Martine is stunning and Nick looks gorgeous – but these two little faces almost steal the show… aren’t they ADORABLE?!!
