I’m a little bit in love with today. I am feeling full of the joys of spring – and we have so many wonderfully floral, vibrant and fresh wedding style features heading your way over the next few weeks I can’t wait. But today – today’s a little more special than most.

Lilac and lemon wedding style ideas at Oxleaze Barn with Amanda Karen Photography (27)

I’m thrilled to be featuring a styled wedding shoot by my friend and sponsor Amanda Karen Photography, with some of the loveliest names in the UK wedding industry. The colours – a super pretty palette of lilac and lemon – are divine. The details are just perfect. Those beautiful ribbons by Kate Cullen… fabulous. Stationery is by Megan Riera, whose gorgeous looping letterforms are right up my street! And those amazing flowers… they’re the work of the incredibly talented Jodie at Acacia. I’m so in love with today, I can’t tell you!Claire

Wedding DIY, crafts and making everything at home is brilliant. I LOVE the revival of crafts and how brides and grooms (and mums and bridesmaids) are getting their fingers glittery and glue in their hair. You ROCK.

It’s also what blogs are all about. We exist to share ideas, to show you new styles and help couples share their real wedding crafts with the world. Every great wedding blog is full of styling touches which we hope will inspire you to get your craft on… or shop from the best wedding designers and crafters who will get glittery on your behalf.

Handcrafted or homemade – it’s all good.

But more and more often brides tell me about a design – say for a cake, an invite or a table plan – which they found online and copied / asked someone to copy for them.
