There are so many ways to style a woodland wedding: you could go boho with shades of green and a focus on foliage, or create a playful and perfectly whimsical scene using vibrant, exciting colours like this…

A team of talented creative wedding suppliers joined forces to show how wonderfully exciting a colourful woodland wedding can look! The cake is a fabulous highlight for me: I adore the bright icing and the wonderful gold leaf tier and detailing – simple, bright and beautiful! It’s by The Wild Blackberry: www.twbweddingcakes.co.uk

“I exhibited at a wedding fair this year where I met Suzanne from Vintage Trousseau. I was instantly drawn to her beautiful dresses which are inspired by vintage clothing. We exchanged contact details and decided to collaborate on a styled shoot. We gathered a group of amazing suppliers and all we needed now was a location!

When Alexandra met Lewis she was dressed as a devil. He was wearing “a 12 year old’s skeleton suit”… and they fell in love! They were married in June and their wedding is one of the loveliest classic English weddings I’ve seen. Alexandra looks divine in a Sassi Holford gown while Lewis is fabulous in a Reiss suit. Their theme was vintage travel, styled around a red post box which I love.

With stationery by Lucy Says I Do and fabulous flowers by Caroline Hodges, the styling of this lovely Devon wedding is classy and colourful. I love all the little details – and the portraits of gorgeous Alexandra and Lewis are just so romantic!
