I should wear flowers in my hair more often – in fact I think the last time was 3 years ago because I still have a photo of me and my buttercup! Perhaps it should be my first resolution for 2017: more hair flowers! Who’s with me?! You will be when you see today’s super pretty shoot, which I love for its colours and the fact it features a few rather lovely friends of the blog who I’ve come to know well over the last year… this is wonderful!

Teaming up with local wedding suppliers makes this shoot really special – the images are by our friends at Boho Lane Photography and I’m happy to say we’re sharing a photo-film by Paul Kyte Photography on our Facebook page this morning too – do take a peek, it’s fab (and fascinating to see what goes on behind the scenes at a photoshoot like this).

Yesterday we featured Verity and Tom’s intimate Chester wedding ceremony… so today I’m thrilled to be sharing the fabulous images from their wedding reception at Nunsmere Hall. The flowers are divine, Verity and her bridesmaids are beautiful and the guys look awesome too! They had a lovely blessing at a church in Tarporley, and then went onto the gorgeous Nunsmere Hall.

Wedding photographer Lucy (Clara Cooper Photography) told me, “This was one of the best weddings I shot this year, the people were wonderful, Verity & Tom were so in love, and they really did go ALL out, the flowers (just WOW), the table settings, even the absolutely stunning gifts, all engraved with a birch leaf, (Verity’s second name), the day was filled with personal touches which made it so special. The sun shone all day long, they had a live musician who was AMAZING and he played every instrument you can imagine. There were beautiful family portraits, champagne in the gardens, and a stunning wedding breakfast. Following this they partied hard into the night.”
