Morning lovely! Oooh it’s so cold! I’m starting to collect gloves and mittens… every time I go shopping I forget them, and buy a new pair… and now I’m tempted to put them all on at once! Brr. But my typing fingers won’t be defeated as I have the most beautiful wedding at Stancliffe Hall to share with you. It’s a venue I haven’t shared on the English Wedding Blog before (but you can see more Derbyshire weddings here) – and it’s pretty special. A Grade II listed hall with some fabulous contemporary touches, it’s the perfect setting for Joanna and Darron’s super chic wedding.

The bride and groom are gorgeous and the love in their eyes just sparkles – I adore the sunlit images, and the colours in Joanna’s bouquet are fabulous. You’ll love it. But my favourite bit? It’s that cake. There’s just something sooo tempting about naked cakes, isn’t there?! Anyway – you’ll love all of today’s beautiful wedding.

It tickles me that today’s fab couple Sam and Hannah used Midsomer Murders as inspiration for their wedding in Norfolk. I love that little step further from vintage they’ve taken to create a beautifully styled and very English wedding. It really fires my imagination as well… how many TV-themed weddings can you imagine? Poirot? Blue Peter? I think it’s a great idea!

Lenwade House was the setting for what turned out to be a wonderful wedding day with lovely styling and some beautiful moments. Both bride and groom look gorgeous and I know you’ll adore today’s real wedding on the blog. Thanks to Lifeline Photography – the very amazing Hannah Webster – for sharing images with us all today. (You absolutely have to check out lifelinephotography.co.uk where you’ll see Hannah change into a peacock!)

There are tons of ideas in today’s real wedding for you to take home and use as inspiration for your own wedding. Looking for a John Cleese impersonator? (Of course you were!) You’ll find him in the list of recommended wedding suppliers Hannah and Sam have included in their wedding report at the end of the blog! Enjoy. Claire xxx

Amanda and Anton had two wedding receptions and mixed vintage wedding ideas from two cultures to create two of the most memorable days of their lives!

Today’s vintage wedding blog with an Italian twist will inspire many of you I’m sure. There’s beauty in the details: soft, elegant and classy vintage roses, table decorations and styling (not to mention Amanda’s stunning wedding dress and Anton’s super classy suit).

There’s also a real atmosphere of celebration. As Amanda told me, “Italian weddings are all about sharing good food with your family and friends” – and there’s a link at the end of this page where you can see much more of their wedding.

The lovely couple chose Hannah of Lifeline Photography to capture their vintage wedding on camera, and she did a beautiful job. I first met Hannah at top wedding photographer Chris Hanley’s enchanting and creative studio space near Manchester, the Riverside Studios, and I can tell you as well as being passionate about her wedding photography she’s also a really gorgeous and lovely and genuine lady. She photographs weddings all around the Nottingham area – so get in touch! (Read this first though 🙂

winter wedding blog by Lifeline Photography (18)I’ve been waiting so long for a cold snap. I pictured myself blogging all wrapped up and toasty, with glistening icicles outside and this winter berries wedding inspiration shoot on my screen, next to a mug of steaming hot chocolate…

Well there’s no snow outside (yet). I give up!!! But it’s chilly. It’s been frosty… and the sparkles on the pavement in the morning say it’s time to blog this lovely wedding inspiration shoot!

Two posts – all about the shoot today, and an inspiration board to share with you tomorrow. If you’re having a winter wedding, think of sparkly frost and crystals, red berries all shiny and light with a little snow on top… a little bit of white (fake) fur, and plenty of gorgeous sparkle. Hannah Webster (of Lifeline Photography) and friends are here to show you how!
