A romantic, joyful micro wedding from the Welsh coast – with glorious summer flowers and the most stunning wedding dress for our beautiful bride. The dancing begins outside the church… and these two just don’t stop moving from there! I love the happiness and celebration here – I hope it makes you smile!

Let’s start the week with a vibrant splash of happy colour, shall we? Lovely English Wedding member Hannah Timm Photography sent this editorial in for us – it’s filled with the most wonderful florals and beautiful styling to brighten your day. I’m head over heels in love with every little detail, from the stunning cake to the stationery and table styling – I can almost smell the sweet peas! The images speak for themselves, but I love how Hannah and Kirsten from The Little Wedding Helper explain the way the concepts all came together.

With love,

Morning lovelies! Today’s wedding is cute as can be with little wedding place settings made of Lego and a gorgeous bride and groom! Jenny and Chris were married at Fairyhill in South Wales and they were the lucky winners of Hannah Timm‘s ‘win your wedding photography’ competition! Hannah told me these two were such a lovely, creative couple it was a joy to be part of their celebrations.

This venue is simply stunning, filled with colour and creative touches: the whole place is so cosy and atmospheric with twinkling lights and fabulous lighting (we’re loving the neon!)

For those of you planning your 2021 and 2022 weddings… if you’re in a position to plan and book suppliers early, I implore you to do so. Your wedding will be hosted, captured, styled and celebrated by the amazing independent creative businesses that make the UK wedding industry the sparkling star it is. And we need your support. While the pandemic has us all locked down for now, established wedding vendors are working hard to stay strong and keep earning – and those early deposits and bookings could save us and our families from truly desperate times.

This beautiful eco wedding was held at Coed Hills in South Wales, a zero waste events space set over 180 acres of unspoilt ancient woodland. Laura & Ollie chose this unique wedding venue because of its rustic charm and flexibility to have the day they wanted.

Laura & Ollie run their own catering company and are well used to running events and the organisation and detailed planning that had gone into this wedding was amazing. They designed the menu and catered their own wedding breakfast, with Ollie doing much of the food prep in the days before the wedding. Laura and her Mum were very creative making the flower arrangements and the table details.
