Today’s editorial feature is simply divine. I adore the natural colour palette, the earthy styling and dramatic florals – this is the perfect combination of grace and organics, and I hope you will love it as much as I do! Images are by Katy Jones Photography, and a full supplier list is below so you can check out some amazing Devon wedding suppliers!
One of the themes I loved most in 2016 was colour palettes. Brides and grooms have been choosing the most wonderful colour combinations – tonal palettes and contrasting shades and textures to bring their wedding style to life. It’s a creative thing – and I’m all about the creativity! So my third wedding of the year is a perfect example. Beautiful bride Laura and her gorgeous groom James used pink and gold to create a magical, romantic and perfectly on-trend wedding at Cubley Hall in Yorkshire. I hope you adore their day as much as I do!
Laura and James were married at Yorkshire’s gorgeous Cubley Hall, in the summer. Their day is perfect: captured in a beautiful fine art style, with the whimsical wedding details I love so very much. The flowers are divine – oh, those peonies! and Laura looks more than amazing in a beautiful wedding dress from designer Emma Tindley.
Images are by lovely Yorkshire wedding photographer Samantha Ward – a friend of mine from the beginning of the English Wedding Blog in 2009 and an exceptional talent in the industry. Sam’s images are out of this world – do take the time to discover her work here:
Hello beautiful 🙂
I don’t often share my own work on the pages of the English Wedding Blog, but with instructions from lovely Charlotte at Eden & Eve to ‘shout from the rooftops’ about our styled shoot I simply can’t resist. Today’s feature is a little one focusing on my calligraphy – to see the full shoot you need to head over to the fabulous Rock My Wedding blog (do!) Wedding Bohemia at the Old Mill
Are you looking for a special, handcrafted touch for your wedding? Something two steps across the border into more unusual territory? Something your guests will admire, and touch, and talk about, and then take home and put on their mantelpiece?
