Happy Friday everyone! It’s been a bit of a manic week at English Wedding towers, all busy on the blog, out doing exciting creative things and staying in doing tax returns. Ick. If you’ve had a busy week too, then – don’t listen to the boss – it’s officially the weekend now. I’ve got you some lovely bits of wedding blog land to enjoy until home time. Feet up, pens down, notepads at the ready because there are some brilliant ideas for you here…

For the first time this year, to brighten your Friday, here’s a bit of wedding blog love for you to enjoy!

This one’s been a long time coming, has it not? And I’m especially sympathetic to everyone in an office out there this week: I feel your pain, having spent much of this week surrounded in piles of paper – I’ve been doing my accounts. Ick!

But this… now this is fun. For me it’s research. For you it’s half an hour or more, as you wish, reading and getting inspired and looking at gorgeous pics!

Hang on a minute… where did the week go?! You know sometimes the days just slip by and you feel like you’ve missed one?! Yep – that’s me, right now. But – well it’s nearly Christmas now. So I’ve definitely got that Friday feeling and it’s time to relax and forget about work (yes I know it’s 2 o’clock) until Monday morning.

Time for some wedding treats from around the web…

Another Friday afternoon, another mini-escape from the pressures of the day job for anyone who’s twiddling a pen, gazing into space or watching the clock in the corner. (Do offices still have clocks in the corner? It’s been so long… does everyone just use the clock in the corner of their screen now?) Anyways…

Welcome to the land of weddings, blogs and pretty things.

Hi again ladies and gents – nearly the end of the week and time to down pens, up feet and slurp a cuppa while I bring you another great blog post full of wedding blog updates I love most from the week just gone. By the time you finish reading these, you can get your coat and grab your car keys / bus ticket / overdue-Friday-afternoon-glass-of-wine-in-the-bar-over-the-road.

Happy Friday everyone! I have a brand new feature for those of you who are in the office, clock-watching or rushing to finish a report. Friday afternoons are the worst, aren’t they? I’ve been remembering my days in Manchester’s Arndale Tower, working as a Marketing Exec in my seat by the window… when Friday afternoons were spent gazing out of the window, emailing my friends or chatting, often after a small glass of wine at dinner time.

Work… ick! So today I bring you ‘wedding planning or work’ – a diversion from that presentation that’s doing your head in, a list of great things to look at on the interweb that should keep you “busy” until about ten to four. Most of these links are about wedding inspiration and gorgeous pics. From time to time (I’m hoping this will become a regular feature) I’ll include tips on time management which could just possibly class as work, if your boss asks!

If it wasn’t for #ww and #ff on the land of twitter (and how kind you all are for the mentions – they always make me happy!) I swear I’d have no idea what day it was – this week has been manic with lots of calligraphy poem commissions, blog behind-the-scenes bits and pieces, and a very surreal piece of work I can’t (legally) talk about.

The week in the land of English Wedding has been far more calm, organised and just as creative. Here’s my little summary in case you missed anything!

A short weekly round up this week, because I’m dashing around trying to pick up some pieces that WordPress dropped. Don’t ask!

The life of a wedding blogger is never simple, but it’s always a challenge and I do love the geeky stuff… I’ve learnt so much from my wedding blog! (turns out, there’s plenty more to learn) Anyways, here’s a weekly round up of my best bits, and everyone else’s too!
