Romance is in the air this morning as I bring you one of the prettiest styling ideas of the year: mocha and metallics. There are endless possibilities with this colour palette – today’s shoot uses soft tones and the prettiest of details to create a timeless wedding style I know you’ll love.

Images are from DJ Archer Photography (Lancashire). Lovely Lizz told me a little about the background for the shoot. I’ll hand over to her to tell you more! Do check out the suppliers involved if you’re anywhere in the North West – links are at the end of the feature.

Charlotte is a dressmaker and the gowns she and her Legend Bridal team create are truly bespoke. We tend to take the influences from the gowns and accessories that the team from Legend have made.

For the Berrington Hall shoot, our theme was glamour with a touch of mocha. The shoot was very much a glamorous style with Charlotte’s (Legend Bridal) sequins and pearls and crystals featuring throughout. There is still a nod towards vintage weddings but with a more glamorous edge with golds and metallics featuring too.

Isn’t it cold, and so beautiful today! I hope you’re having a nice day – just a quick little note from me to say congratulations to Louise, who won the Betsy Button competition I ran in November.

Louise was selected at random to win the lovely bracelet and heart ornament from Betsy Button. I shall miss the heart, which has been to my beach and now hangs on my little Christmas tree – but I know Louise will love it – it’s gorgeous 🙂
