Can we do this wedding backwards? Would that be ok… it’s just the first image to land in my inbox was absolutely breathtaking – I need you to see this one first!
WOW, right?! I know!! Emma and Christian’s wedding is gorgeous – from beginning to end (or vice versa, hehe) and the portraits of everyone are fabulous: Emma looks stunning and I LOVE the flowers, the smiles and how it’s so easy to see how much everyone enjoyed the day.
I love today’s wedding: the bright colours and gorgeous styling of Jodi and James’s vintage garden party, in the beautifully restored Farbridge barns, are just glorious. And the bride and groom are the loveliest, happiest couple ever – they look just fabulous too!
Images are by lovely Neil Walker, who is based in Sussex and loves Farbridge! “I shoot weddings at Farbridge quite regularly & it is definitely one of my favourite venues. Nickie & the team there are great & the light is wonderful in the courtyard & even in the barn where there are lots of windows, unusually for a barn. To cap it all, Simon the chef makes wonderful food, definitely the best food of any venue I know, & that’s saying something!” See more...
Barn weddings are sooo lovely: the perfect blank canvas, history and character allowing you to blend in with a rustic theme or contrast beautifully with elegance and country charm. Today’s wedding is perfectly pretty and will inspire countryside brides and grooms everywhere! Enjoy 🙂

Maidens Barn is located in Essex countryside, it’s a rural location and is a hidden gem. It’s surrounded by tranquil space and farmland. Because it’s so secluded and peaceful, it gives the feel that there’s nothing else going on in the world on your wedding day – which is exactly how you should feel. It’s beautiful and has a wonderful courtyard which can be used as one of the many scenic backdrops too. See more...
I always like to pick out my favourite few photos to show you first – it’s a great way to set the scene for a gorgeous wedding blog feature, and I always love scrolling through a wedding, looking out for those amazing, eye-catching, breathtakingly beautiful moments to share with you. However… I tried it today, and within moments I had a list of a dozen STUNNING moments from Dale and Charmaine’s day. Safe to say this is a knockout, and I love every. single. pic.
2016 must be the year of the barn wedding in the UK – I’ve seen so many amazing days from restored, converted, newly-loved barns – and Kim and Josh chose one of the very best for their rustic wedding in Gloucestershire. The photos are superb, and I especially love the bouquet… I’m loving all the greenery in bouquets right now! Kim is so beautiful – and there are some wonderful moments in here too. The first kiss shot is just perfect; and the venue is gorgeous.
