Tess and Tom’s February wedding has so many layers to it: there’s the romance between our gorgeous couple. Then there’s Tess’s Dad’s story (you’ll see what I mean when you start scrolling!), which totally captivated me (and shows just what your wedding day means to the ones you love!) There’s a wonderful camaraderie amongst the beautiful bridesmaids, who shimmer and sparkle through all the photos! And I love how there’s a lovely humour in the day – as Tess puts it, “who doesn’t like a Colin?!”
So here’s something a little different for your Friday lunchtime. Wedding blogs can get a little too consistently pretty… all those white dresses and delicate styling touches… and an occasional reminder that it’s OK to be different is a good thing, right?!
Last Wednesday we shared HBA Photography‘s pretty, boho inspired wedding inspiration feature in bluebell woods. (If you missed it, catch up here.) The same shoot explored a more creative, brilliantly alternative look later in the day, and the behind the scenes film we showed last week hinted at a cape of flowers.
Were you around for our feature with Vintage Button Bridal Design the other day? It has to be one of my absolute favourite shoots of the year – inspiration for a sublime wedding from some amazing suppliers, with a beautiful, balletic twist. (love that word! Balletic!)
I feel equally spoiled and delighted to be sharing more from Vintage Button’s Clare Lloyd today, from the same photoshoot but with a completely different look and style. Of course we’re featuring Clare’s stunning handcrafted hairpieces and necklaces, but this time with a statement bouquet full of vibrant florals with a lush silk ribbon, and Old Hollywood inspired styling.
