Yay, it’s wedding film time! You’ll love this – Daisy and Dari’s wedding is gorgeous with lovely yellow accents and a bit of a daisy theme… genius! Watching Daisy and Dari say their vows brought a little tear to my eye this morning. You have to see this – and you’ll be imagining yourself in Daisy’s shoes by the end of the film! Best bits for me – Daisy’s beautiful sparkly headband, the bridesmaids in yellow, a trip past Lovers Lane on the way from church to reception, and the soft yellow daisy cake 🙂 There’s more about the wedding after the film by Steve Sale, Newlywed Films. Enjoy!
This article is especially for all of you lovely newly engaged brides-to-be! Congratulations and welcome to Weddingland 🙂 It’s a magical whirlwind of a wonderful place to inhabit, but it can also be freaky-scary, expensive and overwhelming. So let’s ease ourselves in to proceedings with the help of a very wonderful friend of mine. I asked Bernadette if I could reblog an article she wrote for her own wedding planning blog, because I find her advice reassuring, positive and encouraging – I hope you will too! Over to Bernadette…

Sometimes it seems wedding blogs focus too much on the ‘average’ bride and groom – but what is average? And hell, isn’t life a billion times more fun when we spend it with couples who have brilliant personalities and a great sense of fun? The English Wedding Blog will never be just about averages; it’s important to me to share real weddings, with real people. Because it’s YOU who make the blog a wonderfully exciting place to be!
When a brand new bridal designer sets up shop it’s always exciting to see fresh and individual wedding dresses. Making a splash in the wedding industry with sneak peeks on Love My Dress, in Vogue and a host of wedding magazines is Maria Senvo and I’m about to share images from the not-even-launched-yet Fifteen collection by Maria this morning.
