Happy weekend! Thank you so much for sticking around to enjoy the English Wedding Blog this week – we’ve had a wonderful week full of weddings and style inspiration and I’m thrilled to be sharing yet another real wedding with you today, this time from Manchester city centre. Gorgeous couple Rebecca and Stephen’s October wedding day was intimate, informal and relaxed. They focused on fun, laughter and happiness – and their photos capture the atmosphere brilliantly. The styling is minimal, contemporary and beautiful, and the venue is The King Street Townhouse Hotel. Images are by lovely Sarah Millington Photography, based in Derbyshire.

This has to be the most elegant woodland wedding style inspo I’ve ever seen. It’s romantic and earthy, timeless and welcoming – and so luxurious. The look was created for a winter wedding, but for me it’s woodlandy and magical and will work beautifully for any season. The green colour palette with gold accents is divine; the tablescape is oh so perfect. Huge thanks to lovely Inspired by Susie Evans for sharing this with us today. There’s a full supplier list below.

Welcome, lovely, to the second day of ‘English Wedding lite’ – my look back at some of our favourite weddings from our 2018 archive. Yesterday we reminisced on James & Keye’s festival wedding; today we’re all about luxe, glamorous and timeless wedding style with beautiful Tig & Piers. They were married in Nottingham and chose Martin Makowski to capture their day. You’ll love their flowers – they’re by Lou at No 27 Floral Design.

She said yes. Congratulations! Now you’re tasked with planning your perfect wedding. Flowers to be ordered, venues booked, invitations written — weddings take a lot of preparation. With so many things to consider for the big day, shopping for your wedding suit can feel like a burden. Where to begin?

Your wedding suit is probably the most important outfit you will ever buy, so it’s essential to get it right. Think of your bride’s face when she first sees you on the day, or the many photos that will document the occasion. You want a wedding suit that is classic, timeless — something you can look back on with pride and fond memories. Yet, for many of us, the old wedding suit shopping ritual can become both stressful and expensive.
