I almost pinch myself whenever I see Gemma and Gordon’s wedding photos – they’re just so incredibly beautiful. And what an amazing venue – Finchcocks Musical Museum is as cool as it sounds and then some. Gemma told me their theatrical wedding venue had “old style pianos everywhere, amazing walled garden and wild gardens, high ceilings and wooden floors…” and the images show musical ephemera everywhere – just. wow.

I adore Gemma’s dress, her hair and her pretty bouquet. The images of today’s gorgeous bride in a disused room at the venue are eerily beautiful – you’ll love them.

I have a little treat for you all this fine Sunday morning – one of the loveliest real weddings I’ve seen in a while, with touches of old Hollywood glamour and exquisite photography at  Norfolk’s magnificent Narborough Hall Gardens.

Laura is beautiful; a glamorous, graceful bride. Her perfect partner is Simon, every bit the movie hero to Laura’s romantic heroine. And they really do have it all: a fabulous wedding, superbly styled with love and laughter in every one of their beautiful images. My personal highlight? Laura’s advice to think back to other weddings and decide from there what’s most important; also, to keep an open mind when you go dress shopping. Believe it or not, this stunning Sassi Holford dress wasn’t the kind of style Laura had in mind at first!

Hey everyone, happy Saturday morning! I hope you have a lovely weekend planned. Remember Small Business Saturday is today so please do everything you can to support independent sellers near you over the weekend. We’ll love you for it! If you’re still thinking about wedding dress shopping may I suggest you take a moment to explore something really different? I know so many of you are looking for a different look for your day, and I think I might just have the answer!

Samantha and Edward’s wedding is just gorgeous. Samantha describes their style as ‘traditional country chic’ – the perfect label for a deliciously done, classic English wedding.

They married in the summer, choosing delicate pastel colours and focusing on beautiful flowers in their wedding theme. I love Samantha’s advice about ‘the little things’ – she told me it’s the people, the food and the music which matter most of all. I love her comment about her Stewart Parvin dress though: “It was amazing and I wish I could wear it all the time.” She looks incredible. (And hey, why not wear it again? I would!)

Happy Thursday lovelies! How are you this crisp December morning? It’s a special day (my parents’ wedding anniversary – happy anniversary!!!) and I’m celebrating with a really magical wedding on the blog – I think you’ll love it. I love weddings which are stripped bare of fluff and which focus on the true meaning and reason for the day of celebration.

Don’t get me wrong: I’m a lover of fluff… but I adore romance and I sort of think it’s a responsibility of wedding bloggers not to get too carried away. Today’s wedding is everything it needs to be; I’ve said many times here that intimate weddings are my favourites. All you need is each other – and the smiles on beautiful bride Natasha and her hubby Gareth’s faces are testament to that.
