Hannah and Justin’s wedding is quintessentially English, elegant and charming – and has some pretty handmade touches too. This beautiful bride and her groom were married just as the May blossom was at its best, and their Nonsuch Mansion celebration is so pretty, perfect for the time of year.

Hannah found many of her wedding ideas online. She told me, “living in a household full of boys, it was lovely to be able to indulge in creating a very delicate, girlie scheme. I tried not to make it too themed and instead our wedding deccor evolved into a hotchpotch of things I love and ideas I had sourced on Pinterest and wedding blogs.”

Happy Friday lovelies! It’s been an amazing week here at English Wedding Blog HQ… we’ve booked our second Manchester calligraphy workshop and had some amazing weddings and styled shoots in our inbox (but there’s always room for more – hint!!!). Here’s something I’ve been soooo excited to share with you for weeks now… a wedding ideas feature with copper and pastel tones, beautiful photography and the most ridiculously gorgeous flowers you can imagine…

Who’s in the mood for a special treat this lovely afternoon? Because – it’s your lucky day, I have just the thing! Described as ‘the happiest bride on the planet’ and incredibly beautiful, Steph married her soulmate John a few weeks ago in rural Staffordshire – and I can’t resist showing you their wedding!

The gorgeous couple married at Domvilles Farm guest house, which is the most charming rural setting you can imagine. The cherry blossom was still at its very best and the details of the day were chosen to compliment the season. There’s pretty gypsophila and a delicate rose bouquet; a naked cake complete with Wookie (click the ‘see more’ link for that one!), handwritten chalk board menu and table plan and a gorgeous teepee…

I consider myself a fierce supporter of British talent in the wedding industry. I’ve been approached by some major US brands who’d love to feature their wares on the English Wedding Blog… and I’ve always said no. My blog exists to help local brides and grooms find the best suppliers close to home, and I truly love discovering our own amazing designers.

Today’s post is a bit of a reference: straightforward and simple, no frills – a showcase of British based designers’ wedding gowns from London’s White Gallery. Discover dresses from the likes of Emma Hunt, Katya Katya Shehurina (whose beautiful gowns featured in yesterday’s hydrangea inspired wedding shoot), Charlotte Balbier and Naomi Neoh on the blog today.

Do you love hydrangeas as much as I do? Those gorgeous handfuls of delicate blue petals have inspired many an English wedding and I look forward to their arrival every summer.  I have the most deliciously beautiful wedding ideas shoot to share with you today. We’re talking dreamy blue hydrangeas in a serene Cotswolds setting – a truly idyllic barn location… and you’ll LOVE this!
