I’ve been so excited about today. Secret projects and whispered email conversations with some of my most favourite people have come together to make something beautiful for YOU: The English Wedding Book. It’s an online publication (no dead trees: yay!) which is filled with beautiful style ideas, expert tips and real weddings, with a full chapter of advice from real couples to help you plan your big day.
It’s FREE to read, and it’s also free from advertising. For me this is a pretty major deal: I want you to enjoy the book for what it is: pages of articles with beautiful photography to inspire your wedding, with no pressure to buy a single thing. See more...
…The Big Launch. Oooh. I’m a little nervous! (to say the least!! I’m quivering! It’s scary!)

Good morning lovely blog readers! Today is set to be the busiest day of the year at the English Wedding Blog HQ… because we’re making the very final finishing touches to our BOOK!!! Join us tomorrow for the big launch – or follow us on Facebook and our NEW Instagram account today for some sneak peeks at some lovely highlights from its secret pages!
I love a wedding with a story, and with something different and personal to the couple – and for beautiful bride Claire and her gorgeous husband Matt the stories are absolutely incredible – as amazing as the images of their day.
The proposal is a story in itself: Matt was going to propose at the top of Kilimanjaro, Tanzania but Claire broke her foot and couldn’t go on holiday, so the best man went instead. “John videoed Matt proposing to me at the top. He later showed me the proposal and asked for my answer at the top of Toubkal in the Atlas Mountains – 5 months later – they both kept the secret well!” See more...
