How is your Monday going? We’ve just got back from our adventures at The Handmade Fair and I wanted to share something pretty and summery with you… a glorious outdoor wedding at The Pavilion at Lane End.
The flowers are fabulous; the bride and groom look amazing, the venue is one of my favourites.
Jenni and Phil’s wedding style is classic and traditional, with lovely coral and pink accents in the flowers and some brighter colour mixes through the day. The cake is tiered chocolate with tumbling fruit and chocolate swirls; it looks too good to eat! See more...
Cliche it may be, but your wedding should be all about YOU! Style your day with the things you both love, and you’ll have happy memories forever. Claire and Christian did an incredible job of making their day really personal – taking things to the next level with their wedding favours (bristlebot, anyone?!) and chose a super Lake District wedding venue which they made their own for the day.
Those of you who follow me on my personal instagram will know I’m lucky to live by the beautiful Lake District. My home is one of the most beautiful places in the world and I’d never dream of getting married anywhere else. Andy and Katie’s wedding is literally right up my street – and instantly shoots to the top of my list of weddings of the year. Their day is charming, full of personal touches and still wonderfully down to earth. Oh and Katie is the prettiest bride with such a wonderful smile… you’ll LOVE today’s real wedding.
Timeless and traditional always works like a charm. When Sophie and Daniel were married this summer they knew their day would be elegant and stylish, with pretty handmade touches and delicate detailing. I love the pretty colour scheme of dusky pinks and pastels, the little knitted dolls and the pretty tissue paper flowers decorating the marquee.
Sophie is breathtakingly gorgeous – a beautiful bride who says the day was “a little girl’s dream come true“. Her review of Hampshire wedding photographer Jennifer Sinclair is fabulous: “Not only is her work amazing she is also a lovely, fun, patient person. Jennifer has become a friend who we will always want to stay in contact with.” See more...
I don’t say thank you often enough. I would love to be someone who lights up people’s days by sending surprise thank you cards… but time runs away with me and I rush from one project to another. Even as I write this, I’m making a note in my calendar to ‘say thank you’ to someone once a month! After all, the English Wedding Blog wouldn’t exist without so many wonderful suppliers sharing their images, tips and advice here – I have a LOT of people to thank!
