How are you doing, lovely readers? It’s been a rough start to the year, and if your wedding planning mojo has done a disappearing act I hear you. You’re not alone. A survey identifying the most stressful life events identifies weddings as being in their top 10* – and if we add covid worries and postponements onto that, the stress factor rockets.
Stunning peachy and autumnal tones for a rich and earthy colour palette. This wedding photoshoot from Dulwich College has exquisite wedding dresses and stunning stationery with opulent florals – it’s everything, and we LOVE it!

End-of-summer weddings are probably the best. Colours are turning rustic, temperatures are pleasingly mild and one of the most iconic wedding venues, Dulwich College is a still oasis of calm in south east London.
A romantic, joyful micro wedding from the Welsh coast – with glorious summer flowers and the most stunning wedding dress for our beautiful bride. The dancing begins outside the church… and these two just don’t stop moving from there! I love the happiness and celebration here – I hope it makes you smile!

Oh my goodness, did you see how the world changed last year? I don’t mean the big old general world, I mean the wedding world… which suffered heartache and tears, thousands of postponements and major shifts in how we even plan weddings right now. A happy handful of brave and determined couples went ahead with their weddings on a tiny scale – and micro weddings became a thing. (Which is actually a huge shift in how weddings work – and it’s exciting!)
Thoughtful styling with an heirloom touch – and wonderfully romantic rebelliousness courtesy of #englishweddingmember Charlotte from The Wedding Scene! Scroll to the end… the last pics are stunning and something I’ve NEVER seen before in all my years as a wedding blogger! Oh – there are some big spoilers in the text below, which lovely Charlotte sent in with her submission. Enjoy!
