Kate and David’s wedding is beautiful, perfect… the dream summer wedding at a venue I know is a pretty special place (my cousin was married here!) – and they have the loveliest images to remember it by, from John Mottershaw Photography and with my friend Carol Elizabeth Photography as his second shooter on the day. “We ended up having 2-4-1 on the wedding day as John brought in Carol as an extra pair of hands, so we were very lucky! They both fitted in so well with the guests and you barely noticed they were there snapping away.”

It’s funny how one blog feature links into another sometimes… earlier this week I was reading one of our lovely couples’ interviews for the blog, and the bride said she wished she’d been able to keep her bouquet, she was gutted she couldn’t keep her flowers forever… and then as if by magic, Harriet gets in touch with something so very beautiful I can barely believe my eyes!

Harriet produces bespoke miniature artworks?? of your wedding bouquet hand painted in watercolour. ?Each piece comes either framed or unframed and makes the most beautiful? ?wedding gift? ?and everlasting keepsake.

I’m known for being a little odd… and I’m a country girl born and bred, an artist at heart. This kind of beauty takes my breath away:

Black and white wedding photography only occasionally makes an appearance on blogs – and I’d love to see more. The beautiful contrast, the striking effect all make this photograph (from Michelle & Rob’s Yorkshire wedding to be published on Mother’s Day) one of my favourites, ever.

I’m in love with the tree, too. What? It’s timeless, strong, beautiful… and makes for a spectacular wedding picture!

Hey there, beautiful! Are you near a window… can you take a second to look up and see nothing but glorious blue sky? It’s been the loveliest day here by the seaside, and I couldn’t think of anything nicer than to finish such a perfect afternoon with some stunning photography by Jennifer Jane. You may remember Sally & Matt’s wedding – captured by lovely Jennifer. I’ve since become a real admirer of Jennifer Jane Photography and I’m delighted to be able to introduce her as a sponsor of the English Wedding Blog.

Scott and Laura’s summer wedding is so wonderfully pretty! The bright yellows, gorgeous florals and delicate details are guaranteed to brighten your morning. “I adored my fresh flowers – simple countryside yellows and whites – and was gutted that I couldn’t keep them forever.”

Today’s bride and groom are the loveliest couple too – Laura’s beautiful in her wedding gown and you won’t believe where Scott got his super cute suit from! They’ve shared some great advice with us in their English Wedding Blog interview at the end of the feature – don’t miss it, it’s a good one!
