Did you see our 15 wonderfully unique and affordable wedding invitations feature last month? I love writing posts like these: I love being able to share independent designers’ collections with you and I see myself as a bit of a matchmaker.
I totally fell in love with Aimee Willow Designs‘ Instagram themed wedding invitation and I was thrilled when Aimee said I could show you more of her work. She’s a true talent: an illustrator and graphic designer by trade, Aimee started to specialise in wedding stationery while planning her own wedding. Her style ranges from inky floral bohemian to unique passport and polaroid quirkiness. I love how she combines modern handwriting fonts with quirky floral graphics to create bright and breezy invitation styles. Her country garden invitation is so sweet and perfect… I think this is my favourite but it’s soooo hard to choose from so much pretty! See more...
I’m not sure what caught my eye and stole my heart first… the fabulous yellow accents, or Jen’s dream dress, or maybe the spirit of this beautiful barn wedding caught so wonderfully on camera. It matters little: whatever you love best, it’s pretty much guaranteed you’ll be blown over by today’s incredible wedding. Allow me to introduce stunning bride Jen and her gorgeous groom Chris!

It seems sooo long since we published a sneak peek from this wedding in the English Wedding Book at the beginning of this year (do you have your free copy yet?) but when these divine wedding pics landed in my inbox it felt like yesterday. Vanessa and Will are amazing: their farming wedding is one of the loveliest I’ve ever featured and I know you’ll love everything about their day.

Emma and Fraser’s wedding has timeless grace and a lightness of spirit – the romance of today’s feature is simply wonderful. The details are subtle, elegant and sophisticated, taking inspiration from days gone by with effortless charm. And our bride and groom are gorgeous a million times over in their wedding finery… think bespoke gowns and Scottish groomswear, family heirlooms and the loveliest touches to make a wedding to remember forever.

These flowers make me think of the seaside… the colours are magical, they’re light and dreamy… and perfect for a summer wedding. The loveliest thing about the bouquet is that it’s one you can make at home with quality silk flowers and our step by step tutorial by lovely Natasha at Pumpkin & Pye.
Where to find quality silk flowers
Artificial flowers come in all shapes and sizes, and the quality varies hugely: garden centres and home stores sell the cheapest they can get. The only way to source really lovely silk blooms is online, and Natasha recommends Afloral.com whose website is testament to the pride they take in sourcing only the very best. Do take a look at Afloral online. See more...
