Sublime calligraphy, a magnificent venue and a dream dress make today’s wedding blog a real treat. Jennifer and Marcus married at Buckinghamshire’s beautifully boutique hotel Stoke Place in early summer, and their wedding has timeless style and effortless elegance – I hope you will love it as much as I do!

Subtle colours and your own personal style are all you need to make your wedding perfectly, beautifully YOU – and today’s gorgeous bride and groom show us just how it’s done. Their day is elegant, with touches of glamour and timeless charm – and it’s as full of love and laughter as can be.
Styling is subtle and sophisticated: the flowers use green foliage and white ranunculus. “We decorated the tables ourselves with long vases with ranunculus and gold and ivory petals scattered around.”
You know when nature creeps into the cracks of a wall on an old industrial site…? I love that. Life prevails. Beauty wins, and today we show a transformation which will turn your wedding venue world on its head. You really can be married anywhere. I almost wonder if an abandoned warehouse space could become a more beautiful location than a stately home? After all, we’ve kind of done village halls now…
Today’s wedding is so, so perfect… it’s full of laughter and love, with the loveliest styling and decor… and the most beautiful bride and gorgeous groom. I can’t think of a better way to begin our week, can you?!
The flowers are by Kate at Windmill Farm Flowers. Nicola told me they were “the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen. So perfect and effective.” The naked cake fitted the wedding style so well – and the decoration is fabulous. It was made by the Exclusive Cake Company, Dulverton. See more...
I LOVE today’s pretty outdoor wedding – gorgeous bride and groom Betty and Phil opted for an English country garden style celebration, mixing the prettiest flowers with cute bunting and home made signage – it’s wonderful in every way!
